The techology and craftmanship is on another planet. I have the Essentia's coming. The Auroora's are rea hellolly cool looking. Aries Cerat understands high end audio. Wow
Your systems are on another level which I can appreciate. I assume this is about art as much as form over function. the build quality is obvious and the visual design is beautiful, I wish you would pay some attention to the audio on these videos as I can't understand you sometimes. I would like to hear more about the specs and how it all translates into listening pleasure, however, there is always a means to an end. I think sound or listening quality is very subjective, and there comes a point where price and sound reproduction trueness is a perspective debated often enough. I have an active subwoofer system that two of my sons and I built twenty years ago, it is a bit massive 400 lbs, coffee table footprint form-factor with two 12" dual voice coil drivers in a folded horn enclosure. My son Eric was killed in May of 2016, so his love and workmanship live on in this and his beautiful daughter, which is why I continue holding on to them. I was going to bi-amp it or even drive each voice coil with its own amp. Right now I only have a 1200 RMS power amp with a dbx subwoofer synthesiser. I think it has sounded better with age, no explanation for why this is. The front speakers are Martin Logan ESL Impression 11A, mains and sub are connected to a twenty-year-old Yamaha Natural Sound DSP-A1 @180 RMS @4ohms Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz Total harmonic distortion: 0.005%, Damping factor: 200 Input sensitivity: 2.5mV (MM), 150mV (line) Signal to noise ratio: 86dB (MM), 96dB (line) Inputs: Bluetooth Streaming, Technics SL-1000MKII SP-10MK2 Direct Drive Turntable EPA-100, SP-10 MK2, SH-10E Jasmine LP2.5DU MM/MC Phono Preamplifier Moving Coil Cartridge Hana Web Links: 1. scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t45.5328-4/277112565_5010980995652381_1405146094199889555_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_p720x720&_nc_cat=103&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=c48759&_nc_ohc=Qb6hfcV0hi4AX-X9CVG&_nc_ht=scontent-atl3-1.xx&oh=00_AT-11kh7c8Ks8mnkP8aqqETNtbD-myc7Ihth9il5QnopqA&oe=62D0BF21 2. facebook.com/marketplace/item/1070461613888525 3. facebook.com/marketplace/item/1092542331334235 (Bedroom Integrated Amp Devailet Expert 120) 4. facebook.com/marketplace/item/3252310251725060 There is more, however, you get the picture. At this price point, I don't think I could enjoy my music anymore even if I invested another $50k, there comes a point of diminishing returns. Truthfully, I can't believe how happy I am with the quality and soundstage imagining. It seems we are always chasing after a perceived level of perfection, but not anymore at 67 years I am very satisfied.
Stavros, I’m so proud to be an ABC, that is (Australian Born Cypriot). I’ve strived to have an Australian made audio system, but I have ended up with foreign components that are tweaked and heavenly modified which sounds pretty good for what it’s cost me. But now my dream would be to have a Cypriot designed and made system. (An “Aries Carat” system) If only I could afford it. I love your work and if your ever in Sydney please come around for a coffee and we can spin some vinyl, eat and drink Australian/Cypriot style. I’ll invite a few of my hifi enthusiasts along as well. Keep up the great work.
