The best commentators are the ones who love their game, know the movesets and minor details. You both are a dream team.. reminds me of ultra David and chen with street fighter.. or yipes and pie Lee chung
Psychokore Underground Rap Chen sucks and only knows the most basic meta unless he's commentating ST. David, Sajam, and Zhi are probably the best SF commentators atm.
its about the chemistry between 2 casters.. david and chen are both friends and thus the commentary is often smooth with room for eachother to talk. Same as with Mustard and Ketchup.
I've been watching Tekken for a long ass time, and this might be the greatest shit I've ever seen. There were so many amazing moments that I can't even process it all. Do it again.
Joey Fury with the balls of STEEL. Them iron mountain slow-mos were some of the most hype moments of the tournament. Everybody in the venue was going nuts.
This tournament was the best 5 hours of e-sports in 2017 by a mile. Jesus christ I'm exhausted from watching... that was incredible! And huuuuuuuuuge shoutouts to MarkMan and Aris for awesome commentary, it's unbelievable how much they added to the matches. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Breh saint activated his secret anime villain powers after that 2-0 post reset. But qudans, our hero coming out on top just as the prophecy fortold, dethroning the two headed EchoFox beast
Ive seen this already, but the tournament was so gawd damn SICK that I'm gonna watch it again...and Aris deserves my view over of other channels for the excellente commentary. Consider us even, Muchacho.
Having watched this for a third time lol, i think I have a little insight into what makes tekken 7 particularly entertaining to watch. For fighting game enthusiasts, I believe that the multitude and diversity of the attacks and movements each character can make helps convey what a player is thinking/trying at any given time. Long movelists and deep systems makes for HUGE tactical complexity in a given momemt/round/match, creating a near infinite spectrum of diverse story telling potential, only limited by the timer on the clock.Partner that with cool characters and sick looking combos and you got yourself a fun tourney to watch! Now excuse me while I change my bong water...
I was yelling too! Even jumped out of my seat hands on my head like "OMFG NO WAY". It was awesome! Same can be said saint vs qudan. Those constant comebacks where godlike!
UNBELIEVABLE Showcase of fighting. Speedkicks has shown impressive skill in switching up his fighting style a bit to throw his opponents off guard. Joey Fury with a spectacular performance and Qudan just simply the Cinderella of the show! Amazing display of skill, excitement and entertainment. Friggin LOVE Tekken!!!!!!!
I legit cried joyful tears at the energy of the crowd chanting for JDCR to play heihachi and to see Qudans reaction. Cheering his opponent on and it was genuine. Tekken has come a long way man. A long way.
I have never gotten so emotionally involved. But i do feel like JDCR would have won if he played heihachi against qudans in the first place. Qudans had studied the crap out of his Sergei. Kazuya for world finals next year
It's possible but I honestly think the answer to Aris' question of "Did JDCR practice Heihachi in the lead-up to the tournament" is no, even though his Heihachi is obviously excellent there seemed to be a big difference between the fluidity of his Drag & his Hei. That ended up sealing his fate. What would be really sick is if next year JDCR mains Heihachi, or at least autolocks him against Qudans.
I'm annoyed that Aris keeps saying Qudans misses electrics. He doesn't. He just uses df2 like a normal DVJ player, to pick up for combos and to fish for counters. It's a useful move, not a failed EWGF.
Gdadder they weren’t expecting her, they just think she’d be a better fit than a MC. Which shows how dumb people can be. They want Tifa just cause she doesn’t use swords. But we have Yoshimitsu. And had fuckig Gon in the past.
This is just my opinion but I think the way the tournaments are organized and held has become fastfood. There's too many tourneys to watch and it's done over few days. I wish they allowed character customization because seeing same costumes is boring.
You do realize RAs are all launch punishables right? Thats why its rarely ever used. Its a high risk high reward move and in that case, it paid off well.
