They have a lot of wholesome interactions with Jinwoo and other characters and also have their own thoughts and feelings that they express.

In the manhwa, one of the convicts from the Kang episode is still alive and after Jinwoo sends his friends away, he takes him into the boss room and makes him fight the boss by himself, essentially dooming him. He watches as the boss kills him before stepping in and closing the dungeon.

4:17 I kinda don't like how he just got a pot out and used it straight away. In the LN/Manhwa, he actually thinks to himself "This is the Penalty Zone, so I should be able to use potions here." to make it obvious that the Penalty Zone isn't bound by the rules of the Job-Change Quest. I've seen some people who hadn't read properly call it a plot hole/plot armor before 🤷‍♂️.

For the people who thinks Jin woo is getting too much OP, and the fights from now on wont be entertaining because jnwoo is gonna jump them with shadow army...,just understand that the villains from now on are also not alone...they have their own minions.Its going to be soldier vs soldier, General vs General and ofcourse KING vs KING.
