Ok let's be real...there wasn't any dancing...performance yes...but doing a couple spins and a light robot routine is not dancing...it was a cool laser show though

It’s not really about practice to be perfectly right. They’re holding lasers in the hand and there is an effect that the laser is passing through their grasp, but it is not. You can see it if you look for it. However, coming up with the trick is amazing.
@@JDougyJThere's both lasers in his hands and coming down from the ceiling. The fact that it switches so seamlessly that you can't notice is a testament to their skill. Try touching the same spot on the wall without looking at it 5 times in a row. I guarantee you'll fail. And then try to do it while keeping time with a song. The skill isn't anything to do with the lights, it's mastering the choreography to the inch and fraction of a second.
Some people are just good at this - or rather he's spent a lot of time honing his movement, dancing and choreography skills generally, which I suspect allows him to dial in a specific performance like this relatively quickly.
Seems like it's using motion sensors, lasers in his hands etc. ie a mix of techniques with some sort of orchestrator communicating with different embedded devices.
@@AImagines_1 yeah, but the devices and orchestrator means it becomes perfect. Extremely nifty and I'm still wondering about a bunch of the moves. While it's not lasers, Daito Manabe and Eleven Play has tons of nifty stuff in the same category of computer enhanced choreography. And a lot of it is about how much autonomy you leave to the performers.
jeez the choreography is so friggin smooth! ive seen other lazer choreos like this but DAMN none of them hit the fluidity and believability of this one!!
Yes, that is how they create the illusion of manipulating the lights. However, they also have to move in sync with the light rig to seamlessly connect the laser pointers to when the rig activates. That in itself is quite impressive. @@snakedragon9953
@@the_real_badshot9439 its more likely that its done so automatically. A simple connection between overhead lasers and ones in hand, when lasers in hands are triggered, the ones overhead switch off and vice versa.
This is some next level stuff. Imagine this with a room full of sand and doing cymatics at a live concert. Not only would the shape of the sand change, so would your physiology.
EDM concert shows are getting pretty dcking insane too. I havnt been to one since wakka 2014 and that was pretty basic. The visuals now are next level 😮 the same way this guy interacts with the lights; you will see the lights interact with the screen. Also screens are insanely large and high def now its just unreal some of the stuff they do 😮
Infact I can remember the name of the video but I seen one the other day where there was a large, relatively dark room that maybe 100 people were partying in. Suddenly the ceiling splits in two and slides back like the electric doors at a grocery store. Right behind the opening ceiling was a huge screen covering the entirety of the ceiling that was showing a visual of a blue sky with lots of clouds moving quickly past; and an oddly rendered, metallic human floating and rotating in the middle. It was all like super high Def you'd think it were real, on top of that the way they have lights that shine on the walls n such as the ceiling is sliding open makes it look as tho it's truly sliding back some shutters and revealing the bright sunlight. I hope I can find the link for you!
The gloves are linked via wireless/Bluetooth and are part of the light show so the dancer just needs to know the choreography. Must have been a lot of practice still.
That 1 kid in school who was a wizard the the theater lights grew up and found a friend who is just as awesome as he was. The timing between those two is amazing. I wonder how many hours these 2 worked a perfecting this light show.
It alternates between the laser lights shining from above and his own hand-held laser lights that he switches on and off with perfect timing. Much like a well-rehearsed magician.
As sir Arthur Clarke said: any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. I like the way this guy made his moves so smooth and sincronous to the laser show.
@@reaganharder1480yeah thinks it's more that than something following with the lights^^ It's to the dancer to catch the rythm and be on time with the lights, rather than the reverse.
