As hunting season comes to a close and the cold temperatures of January set in, its nice to head south and explore new country. Thats what my hunting partner Darrick and I did as we traveled to Arizona in search of coues deer!
Hey guys, great video!!! What kind of optics would y'all suggest? Spotter and binos on tripods? Worth day camping or can you pack in away from folks? I drew a late season bull tag, so I'm looking to come back in January for pigs and deer. Congrats again.
thanks for watching! great questions! in most scenarios the optics question comes up the answer is aways the best you can afford! glassing off a tripod for long periods of time is KEY! i like to use my binos to spot then throw on the spotter for a close up when i spot a buck. packing in away form people isn't the problem.. the problem is there is just so many roads that it seems we have better luck just picking good glassing points from the road and then make a move when we spot something... we really didn't see that many people bowhunting, in 2015 and the 2016 seasons. its a super fun hunt and we always see LOTS of deer!! in multiple units as well! good luck!!
