Curious as to why the land was not sold and donated, if that was the intent of donating the land for the Glendale Stadium. Donations being used to profit others, after costing taxpayers to develop? Yeah that seems on the up and up. Get the feeling the taxpayers lose again. Increased traffic means increased accidents and more road wear. Increased accidents mean increased insurance rates, thousands lost when cars are totaled and you get to pay extra fees/taxes for needing a rental car. more road wear means more repairs which cost taxpayers. Why exactly do we continue pay people to entertain, while we pay even more in risks and costs? If they have not made enough money in over 20 years to fund this, after having the stadium funded by taxpayers and having land donated to them, seems like a bad investment for taxpayers, again. I'm guessing the Coyotes Foundation doesn't set money aside for improvements. Taxpayers are responsible for that, right? They just sit back and rake in the money as those same taxpayer pay more to sit in a building they helped pay for. But we cheer because the public can use a building they funded..... sometimes, and not everyone who paid a tax that went to fund it/them. I see less and less to respect about any major sport/group. Everyone thinking about what they don't want to pay while asking/making everyone else pay. Probably safe to bet they do not use taxpayers money to bus rural poor children to that very stadium to ice skate and learn to play ice hockey. Giving those kids hope might be beneficial in the future, but not a money maker now. Taxpayers funding Millionaires and Billionaires schemes has scam written all over it, at least for those that have been affected by it and are not profiting from it.
