Love my Australian merino wool undergarments and socks. They are a real game changer, a true revelation. Planning on getting some merino shirts soon too. I have bamboo shirts which perform a similar function but aren’t as good when wet. Love both of these natural and renewable fibres which are also great for the environment. I also use the TKC70 ROCKS rear tyre and apart from wearing a bit faster than I like, they’re an incredibly good tyre. Excellent on and off road, wet or dry. Thanks for sharing your journey, it’s so easy to enjoy your cinematic productions and clearly that’s a credit to your talent.

So glad somebody referred me to your journey. When Itchy Boots finished her mega trip, I had nothing to watch. You are in my back yard right now and I have been to most of these places by car or Jeep and most of the paved road sections via motorcycle. As a relatively new drone operator, I really admire your skill with the drone, your GoPros, and your video camera shots. I can't imagine how much stop and start that takes while getting from A to B. As somebody mentioned below, now my day is not complete until I get my AZ to BC fix. Thanks for the great video travel log.

Beautiful. Great stuff and I'm using many of your ideas..planning to anyway. I just bought a new Tiger 900 Rally Pro, to go moto camping and adventure traveling...will leave San Diego...and...head down into Baja or...straight East and check out Bisbee too LOL. I was very much interested in free camping places and wasn't really aware there were so many. Not sure where to find them but I'll start looking. I got the Insta360 X3 camera as well as several GoPros too. The Insta360 is amazing simple, easy, fast and gives you all the options after one recording, of what you want to see, which is awesome. That telescoping pole and hang down kitchen is a great idea! What pole did you get for that? Good luck, be safe and I'll pray for you and your journey too!

I took a 3 month solo motorbike trip from Nova Scotia to California and back in the summer of 2018 in my BMW S1000RR. I ordered custom luggage bags from Germany, changed the seat to a sergeant seat, packed in my camping gear and off I went. had never done anything like that before. It was the absolute best adventure I had ever been on. The s1000rr held up excellently, i stuck mostly to paved back roads, but there were times I found myself on gravel roads (not ideal for the s1000rr). I would take a break every 200 kms when I would fill up with gas, and the only part of my body that would get uncomfortable would be my bum after 2-3 hours riding, but a break would sort it out. Can't wait to do something similar again, but next time I will do it on an adventure bike, although I must say it's great fun riding the s1000rr. People couldn't believe I came from Nova Scotia on a sportsbike when they would meet me in mid and western america!
