Side by side operators could care less about off road etiquette . As a motorcyclist I can’t count the number of times I’ve been forced off the trail by inconsiderate drivers on the wrong side of the trail.
Over all it good. But, They missed a whole section about unlicensed, uninsured motorized vehicles that aren't legal to be used on public roads and lands outside of designated areas.
This video was developed for OHV rental companies to show their customers. Most of their customers are people with little to no experience in operating them. If this was a video to show the general public who own and operate OHV’s, the video would have to be a lot longer and include a lot more information.
@@thomasbonk9615 Arizona Game & Fish does not work for rental companies. The video was made to inform renters about the do’s and don’t s associated with operating an OHV.
Maybe they should make a place specifically where people can go to do donuts. And jumps and make little tracks. And things like that, you don't want them to go out in nature and destroy it. Use your simple mind and give them a specific place to do those specific things. Not saying get drunk and go do it. I'm saying a place where if they want to go do donuts. Go do donuts. Everyone knows that they're taking the risk when they do this stuff. Anyone dumb enough to stay in the vehicle knows? They are taking a risk as long as they hit. Nobody else if they roll their vehicle and get hurt. Nobody can be sued because it is a conscious choice to put yourself in harm's way. Put that on a sign right there when you drive into the place. And make enough of them that people don't have to drive across the state to go to it and I probably could guarantee you that you will see a huge difference. And how many people are out f****** up nature
Threatening and closing public lands because you can't manage to cite and prosecute those causing the problems is not a solution, it's just angering your public even more.
Forest Service and the Sheriff's dept do NOT have the staff to police these wilderness areas. Being on the land is a privilege and should be treated as such. If we are adults, we should act responsibly. I live out on the land, and I can tell you that people are NOT respecting the land out here and it is dangerous.
Ya, there are areas of such playfulness with sxs, atvs etc. you need to research it. Drinking, drugs still apply though so don't. Also you need to realize the type of vehicle you are buying say you bought a fully enclosed defender type vs the razor, maverick type, just this will affect your how should I drive it attitude and can be very dangerous if you're not sure to what you would like for instance speed, racing you would not by and enclosed one you'd by the buggy type, if cursing, enjoying taking time then maybe the bigger ones. We all who has one know where we should be driving with are skills ability's you don't take a NorthStar, defender type vehicle and race it down a trail it's not designed for it regardless of power, speed so know what you like, just don't assume every sport type vehicle does the same or preforms the same even when it has the same engine, house power, 4x4 etc. Do not be a MONKEY SEE, A MONKEY DO. Pay attention to your loved ones, and someone else's loved ones, GODs speed.
