@@-LFATV I had the opportunity when I bought a new car last year, but I just couldn't get with the way it sounds. Like I said it's not bad but when you drive it, even though it feels like a sports car, there's no Supra feeling to it. I test drove it twice on different days just to see if maybe I was being biased because I know it's a BMW engine, but it's just not the same as driving a Mk3 or Mk4. There's no violence to it, it was automatic at the time, the shart-burble sound between shifts is pretty off-putting and the interior is okay but it's very BMW and not a cockpit like a Supra. The C7 Corvette actually feels like a Supra from inside lol. I bought a 2022 Genesis G70 and it looks exactly like a Mk5 Supra from inside, but it's a luxury sedan, and I already have a Mk3 Supra. Anyway, I'm not trying to be negative. I just don't like that it's the only legend to come back and it's not even close to the original. Camaro, Mustang, Challenger, 400Z, R35 GT-R, etc all did it right with the throwbacks. Toyota even made the GR Corolla which is awesome, so where's the 3JZgte? A 3.5L twin turbo I6 with a 6-speed manual or 8-speed auto would've destroyed! People would be swapping 3JZ's into old Supra's for sure. (I know I would've lol) Nobody is putting a B58 into an old Supra...maybe someone is, but it's not very common.

@@ElioRose but theres no violence feeling to a stock mk3 or mk4 either, not trying to go against ya. I know what you mean. Engines made by Yamaha for the mk3 or Mk4 so technically not toyota either. Either way i cant buy either or so ill stick with my mk3 for now lol

@@-LFATV That's real though. I think I might be a bit bias toward having a BMW engine in a Supra, cause I'd rather K-swap an 80's Celica than LS-swap it. I think maybe it's because JDM fits JDM, German fits German and US V8's are for US muscle cars. When you LS swap an RX7 it's kinda cool...until a Rotary RX7 pulls up next to it lol.
