Houses in Paradise Valley are in the millions. Not just 1 million, at least 3 and up. I think they can pay their electric bill.

Actually, Arizona has some very cheap electric bills compared to most states. I know it sounds counter intuitive, but they have a huge surplus of electricity due to the nuclear power plant. Some of the excess gets sold to California, which has some of the highest electric rates in the US.

@@LA_Commander I read that on average the hot summer bills reach around $400 and they are just about to do a rate increase of about 15%. My parents and sisters live in CA and they are nowhere near that. I live in the west valley and electricity ain’t cheap. Maybe if one has solar then prices go down

US doesn't loose at every category. We are still the most sought after country and globally, more recognizable and at the front of every world issue- good or bad-Though i agree we need to desperately improve on our domestic quality of life issues. We focus alot on globally manners but forget us "small folks" Eventually there may be a tipping point where our government will realize they are loosing too many citizens. Hope they correct it before its too late- We are still a very young country on the map

Cheers from Prescott, where 9 out of 10 new residents are from OC/LA/SanD. Mostly like minded residents if you know what I mean. Most everyone I know here is carrying- and the farther you go out into northern Arizona,the more conservative people seem to be. Except Flagstaff. They seem to be mostly progressive liberal extremists. I don’t spend a dime there.

I know, it is still California, but price wise it seem OK. Plus it is near the beautiful sierras and lot's of rivers. So the nature side of it could be very interesting. Do you have any experiences or helpful feedback on that area?

From the colorado, from northern AZ, plus the water conservation is one of the best if not the best in the country. SRP sal river project has reserves for over 100years in storage and its been improving lately

​@LA_Commander Those are wrong too. Golf courses should be on the East Coast or places where it rains enough to naturally sustain most of the golf course. I get maybe having one small golf course in town, but those huge ones in desert locations are so unnecessary and wasteful.
