Non player enemy tribes that dynamically build and try to attack players would be a great direction and give players "something else" to focus on. Especially if they get stronger and stronger.
That’s so cool, like it’s pvp but in a form of pve where they aren’t real players. That would be a brilliant idea to team up with friends and raid them
Ark is kind of dead. I haven't played it and I've played it non stop until now. I'm waiting until gen 2. I've done nearly everything on it so seeing an Ark 2 is a breath of fresh air. Plus the first Ark keeps getting patches, but cheats always find a way to exploit the game. They can only do so much. It's better it's being launched onto a new system so there will be likely less problems.
I agree with sickly here, fixing ark is impossible at this point, a new blank slate is needed. Let's just hope Ark 2 doesn't become a shitshow. Also I apologize if my English is terrible, I do not speak it often.
Hopefully it’s similar to the last but more intuitive and smooth, give it some better combat maybe, the first one is a blast when it works and if they can iron out the issues and modernize it it’ll be perfect
Improved building mechanics without mods having to fix literally everything would be awesome. Bugs and glitches in general. Also the main menu and UI - Jesus are they bad!!
In the next trailer... If they don't have a Vin Diesel riding a T-Rex, busting out from the enemy base with metal storage vault tied to the T-Rex...I'll be very disappointed.
3:49 Little lore tidbit; but Vin's character 'Santiago' was part of the group with Helena who make it through the arks before the player and designed/piloted the mek suits used to fight the King Titan. Ultimately dying fighting on the Extinction map (Earth). This means that this version is likely another clone/incarnation of that same Santiago. Unknown yet if he retains any of his former self's memories or not but judging by his "Lights out old friend." Line; it would seem so.
Idk, it's a new engine rather than the Unreal Engine 2.5 they had before. They said themselves that Ark had terrible code and had terrible foundation. It was very hard to do anything with, from making content to patches and optimization, so starting from scratch will show massive improvements. They also said they've learned a lot. I don't think it'll be as bad as Ark 1 at launch
Alright let's see you lot try to code in all the new game systems, a.i codes, body models, map designs, create models artifacts, colors, rules, servers, lore, bosses, environments and physics out in the span of a few month. One wise person once said slow and steady wins the race And other said with progress comes set backs So to all people saying "oh its gonna take them 10 years to make it" shut it this is how games work they take a very long time to build and perfect and if there is a bug its up to us to tell them and fix it and finally have some fing patience or don't bother
When my stepdad told me about this I was like this must be some kind of movie series I haven't heard of there's no way it's related to the game. However here we are
The models themselves look really nice in stills, but the movements look all stiff an awkward, especially during the action bits, and the blood effects look just unfinished. The blood is moving at a different framerate than the actual characters and the collision it has with the environment and characters is really janky.
The game, and this trailer, were made with Unreal Engine 5, however UE5 isn't finished being developed, so much of it's tech hasn't been smoothed out yet. Also, this game is well over a year away, which means this trailer is showing great promise if the devs are at this point already with so much more time to work out its finer details. I personally just hope it is at LEAST on PC as well as Xbox, as I just read it might be an Xbox exclusive.
Yams actually no. Vin Diesel looks nothing like a Neanderthal. He doesn't have the body hair, orbital ridge, oblong skull shape. Or anything else associated with them.
Hey, at the time of posting this is a theory, so here goes: what he was doing when he said lights out was purging the survivor intelligence backups, as in lore every human in existence had their memories personality etc backed up in a system, it also said purge on the overlay thing right before he clicked the thing
@@LethalByChoice Did you play during launch? My PC nearly had a heat stroke because the game itself caused my CPU to practically explode. It didn’t happen with any other game on my system, and it turns out that it was a bug the devs had to fix.
@M Bane Cyberpunk couldn't do it because they rushed it out. They just wanted the Christmas money. Ark was at least playable. Buggy but not game breaking.
Wildcard is the most disappointing company I've ever played games from. Every update and new release is a joke. I *really* hope this is something cool and new.
@@kambria9773 they had a great idea but just executed it terribly, hopefully they can right alot of the wrongs in this like the totally broken physics or the bad Dino AI.
well, its deffinatly a new beginning. I like the primitive start where you can play it more or less like stoneage people with dinosaurs and then throught the DLCs tek adds to it. I bet though that its done in UE5 and with photoscans. so we can expect a looooot more detail. I think even more than displayed in the trailer. like these are early assets.
@@sicklysphere8666 ark never been a finished product. And i dont expect it to be optimized before ark 2. It got beter but wildcard got a history of releasing payd new content before the current game is close to finished.
They stated that a few years in. They said the only way to fix many/most of the issues with ark would be to start from scratch and rebuild the entire thing from the ground up. Their version of UE was also pretty rocky, plus bad code in the beginning.
Overall Vin Diesel is literally one of the worst actors EVER, i dont get why people are so hyped about it. The trailer just everything looks so awkward.
@@ProjectDarkwood I mean that's what I've seen... The trailer is as dull as they come (with the exception of the inclusion of the meme that is vin diesel).
@@leomartinez5502 They still have the wrist things and there was still working tek. Might be something on the ring that crashed into the planet that's partially working.
@Pepperoni Pictures I agree with him, the graphics look well made but the movement looks unfinished and static. If people weren't nitpicky things wouldn't evolve
