Phlinger can you make a Wind Turbine guide one day. I was messing around with Ragnarok and it seemed that few places I can get it to always work. But I haven't extensively tested it out. There aren't really any good guides or resources especially to figure out these locations on Ragnarok. Like I was testing out the lighthouse on NE highlands and at a certain height I got it to always work and then I went higher and the it wouldn't really work there. Scorched Earth on the other hand seems much clearer as to where you are going to get them to work 100% of the time.

Built this raft last night only to realize it’s main flaw AFTER the bear was tamed inside. There’s no gate to get it out, after a quick fix works out amazingly

hey Phlinger, something to 'FOR SCIENCE!!!': build a narrower taming trap with door frames. see if you can place a gas trap through the door frames so that the wire goes through the inner area of the trap. and see if it activates on a dino (or bear) that is moving around inside the trap :) that way you don't strictly need a flying mount to go over the wires, and you probably don't need to worry as much about other stuff wasting your traps :)

The best way to get a bear (and just about anything else) is to level up a sarco or an anklyosaur and then unload your tranq darts or arrows from it's back.

You can tame a low level Dire Bear with tranq arrows only just fine

i just tamed a level 65 dire bear in my ark world and all it took was 15 tranq darts and about 20 tranq arrows and i didn't even need any narcotics (i tamed it with prime meat btw) and when it tamed it was level 90

my first playthrough my first pteranodon i named constantine died in the red woods and a dire bear was the next thing i tamed. No mistake

a really cheap trap if you have some metal and cementing paste, use 3 metal bill boards in a square, leave one spot open once the bear runs into the bear trap in the center of the trap to trap it, it cant break metal so you can just tranq it. put some spikes around it tho dont be like me,

I’m on ark mobile and I used the raft technique and I couldn’t get to the part where they spawn in the redwoods because my raft couldn’t get though the windy river because there where so many rocks and couldn’t get out :( -_-

In my opinion bears are way better than thylas bro.. Thylas may look cooler but bear is faster, more dps with right click, more weight, gather berries and thatch.. Idk why people dont tame bear to get an all in mount 🖤
