Watched all your content on complete the ark solo, where i live getting good internet is impossible. Im playing on a Xbox one x, still currently on the island. Really enjoy the calm approach, but getting to the point on console just put difficulty to 5.0 to get 150 dinos?
Ok so on console max difficulty and difficulty at 1.0 spawns in increments of 5, so i think the fixed it. I just made a new char to test it cause i use Valgero as my hub while playing threw the story arks. Im using the settings he posted for a solo playthrew but trying to do the bosses without Rexs.
@@Xristos888 scorched earth and another map (I forgot which one now it's been a second lol) don't Max out at 150 but instead Max out at 130. But on all other maps it should be working fine
I've been watching your whole series, great content! I had to do the override command a few days back on my single player as well, everything was in multiples of 4 with 120 max. After that I did a dino wipe and everything is good, just tamed my first 150 sabertooth!
Thank you for this. I play SP on PC and found that in addition to adding the command line, I needed to tick Read Only in the Properties tab. Otherwise, even after saving, Steam would revert back to the Difficulty 1.0. I also unticked SP settings as that countermanded more than one adjustment I was trying to make.

I hope I can get this to work on Steam Deck. I've played Ark for years and know most of these tricks but can't get it working on non-dedicated Aberration for some reason
Thanks, it also doesnt seem to work on genesis 2 for me with the in-game settings and tickbox. Did 2 dino wipes since I ticked that box to no avail. Gonna try this method. :D

So in the video, I think you said something about a separate thing for 190 wyverns and 180 tek dinos? How do I get them up? Been looking all over, but not a lot of info...especially for singleplayer...My SP game can spawn 150 dinos now, but the max level for wyverns is at 185 and 168 for teks.
Allow max Dino levels check doesn’t work for me on any map, and if I change the values through the files like you did, they all automatically reset upon opening the game again. What’s going wrong?
I couldnt find it either. So I read every line from about halfway and couldnt find it I was like wtf.. Guess I'm reading every. Single. One. Smh. So I get to the top.. Lo and behold its the fuckin FIRST LINE lmao so idk if you ever ended up finding it or what but its still there its just the first line in the server settings
what is real hard lvl in ark : only from 0,2 - 1 (in settings) - max wild lvl dino 35. Why? Because you are play the game with weak dino. Alpfa, dinos in cave and all boss - are much stronger from you. Atak them with tamed wild dino startin lvl 150, is much easier. If you tame pteranodon with 150 lvl - you can kill him : alpha raptor and alpha carno. Is it possible with pteranodon on starting 35 lvl - id don't think so.
Why did I tame a level 209 base tec parasaur this morning. Ragnorock. Also a 192 yutaranis. I thought max was 150 base and 180 for tec Dino’s? I’m confused as hell.
So this will make Dino's in the island spawn at 150 too? Jus start playing on sp w your settings but almost all the Dino's on the island are at random lvls, the higher dino I have seen is a Tek parasaur at 220(when tamed forgot his original lvl)
Have you tested aberration? Cuz its like the island in the fact that difficulty maxed is only 120 on sp. Imma try 1.2857 which is supposedly inceasing from 120 to 150 on a 120 maxed map. Would be really nice to know since no one anywhere has done this with aberration and its getting really fucking anoying. If you have tested to see what works with ab, I would greatly apreciate ur input.
does this work on any map cause on ragnorok i get low levels and im going to test it but just wondering if anyone can confirm it does work on ragnorok???
I save the ini file with the `OverrideOfficialDifficulty=10` above the DifficultyOffset and as soon as I load or wipe the dinos, that setting disappears in my ini file.
When doing this (on island), I just get lots of level 15 dinos. Is there some way of instead of rounding to level 5, make the average dino levels 110-150?
better is make in option of the game lvl 5 - always in run the game because description "OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.0" - desapire in you run the game again
For Some reason When I put in the override line every time I open a new game it erases the line i just put in as well as when I put the line in it doesn't change the dinos levels they are still at multiples of 4 please help someone.
When you are done typing in the line go up to the top left and hit file and click save. I didnt click save as just cuz I didnt want to deal with manually naming this new saved file and possible moving it somewhere it shouldnt be I- idk. Just wanted to be simple and safe. So hit save. Itll keep it. I literally just did this like 5 mins ago cuz I was worried id have to do it every time I log on but it looks like I don't. So this should work for you as well. Apparently tho this override also applies to bosses and they'll be an absurd level 600 so maybe turn it off before trying them? Lol
I’m playing on the island on single player difficulty is 1 and maximum difficulty is checked and I don’t have single player settings on but level 150s do not spawn what could be the problem?
Hello! Does they patched Windows 11? I've found the 2 codex, which I should put another line beetween, but my sequence of settings isn't like yours. I don't want to create mistakes, but maybe somebody can help me telling me where I should paste your settings. Many thanks and great and simple video! I've tried this 20 plus times on Aberration and it doesn't seem to be changing anything. In fact now when I go to settings it doesn't even show a difficulty row. I'm beyond confused as to why my game is giving me troubles :(
I think you need to reinstall ark and aberration, Abberation Natural Single-player Max Level is 150 and you are not getting that is a red flag the size of Idaho, and the fact you are seeing missing columns is an even bigger one.
I been playing the Island map and the Max I was getting with the 1.0 difficulty and the allow max lvl box checker were 120s. So this method should fix the issue.
@@theravagergamer7389 Once I did what was suggested on this video, I just entered the destroywilddinos command and then the dinos were spawning in the range.
Not sure, I realize yesterday that I didn’t have 150 dinos on my private server and I’ve been spending hours trying to find a high level Dino. I just typed in the override command but I’m not sure if you also have to put in the Maximum difficulty bar to make it work
hit tab om p.c or on Xbox One. Go to the pause menu. Simultaneously press LB+RB+X+Y to pull up the admin bar. enter "admincheat destroywilddinos" . It will not wipeout any tamed dinos dont worry
