Ark HOW TO STEAL CRYSTAL WYVERN EGGS & RAISE CRYSTAL WYVERNS 

Hey not trying to teach u anything but for griffin try and gain lots of altitude and do a drop halfway and another one right after u loose the first drops speed, its guaranteed out of render range

U have to actually touch the water with ur hitbox for the buff steve

So they changed the crystal wyverns from the first map to be an egg steal tame instead of passive tame? Did they yeet away the ability to breed them too?

The speed buff is only if your in the water

@@loliegamerd5135 lol no, it's a 30 second buff from the last time you touched the water. You can test this by landing in the water, take off again and check your damage numbers. Check again when the buff has run out. At that point, I don't think it's a flying speed buff at all. I bet it's an attack speed buff. I think this because over the last few days, the longest distance i've been chased was 2 map squares by these bastards and barely manage to outrun them. Like, they're still so fast they are able to bite my wyvern as i try to fly away. You HAVE to put something between you and them so they get stuck or distracted. the old wyvern trap bird cages might work with a good high stam ptera.

You can fly a curve with the tropical wyvern so that the tip of his wing slightly touches the water. Works fine and you will never dismount.

The water has to reach u for u to dismount off the wyvern so does it really matter?

also when you get the buff a splash of water animation shows under you and a sound effect as well.

Bruh he litterally gets the buff by flying over it in the video.....

Cull as many wild animals in the zone as you can. The new stuff spawns based on wild counts already spawned.

You need to chain bola it and then it’s a passive tame. Nooblets got a video guide on that as well I think

Instead of continuously diving with Griffin he stopped to show the distance, if he did that he would have outrunned the wyverns in half the time. Also building the wyvern comb at the border of the biome increases the chances of despawning the aggroed wyverns, so they won't come back to chase you after you return.

Agreed man I love booklets but his Griffin skills are pretty bad lol u could lose a wyvern in a Griffin in seconds

that only works on official or if your wyvern isn't low level/has enough food. Also you prob can't imprint that way because 9/10 times they want those damn crystals. It's ok for a discount wyv though

It seems to be very different in console as well. I accidently went in the rat hole and there was like 15 wyverns. I got out of there quickly and 2 wyverns followed me, used the water buff but still had them on my chewing my ass. Then thanks to ark mechanics. Ran out of stam, and couldn't do pretty much anything. 80% health tropical just sitting there getting slaughter to death since i never regen any stam. The thing was I was originally looking to tame an anky and other dinos so I lost about 400 tranq arrows in the whole ordeal😑😑😑.

are you on moded server? couse on regular/singer player there arent eggs anymore

@@TheWhiteRat1 he plays on private servers for a reason. He wants to have a authentic feel of the game with slightly boosted settings. Your whole comment is irrelevant, condescending and not helpful to anyone that doesnt play single player. Plant turrets are so weak in default settings.
