It's time for the new kid on the block to take on the top dog in the musical clash of the ages! Stylistically, 'Destiny - Ark Stage 1' gave me some strong vibes similar to the structure of Wily Stage 1 from Mega Man 7. So in that vein, I wanted to mash them together with the underdog taking the forefront. Huge fan of Ninmark's work, seriously, check the guy out.
The usual musical repertoire was out in force on this one. Features instruments from the Korg M1, Shreddage 3 Hydra, Super Audio Cart, and TyrellN6.

Yeah! It's kind of obvious to say, but I really appreciated all the MM relations in GC. It's never explicitly in your face about what it takes cues from, but it's also clear what they wanted to pay homage to, so I thought it was pretty classy.

Damn,the timing of this could not have been any better since I've been tearing through Gravity Circuit over the course of this week and been having a blast with both its gameplay and Soundtrack. You did a great job keeping that ominous flair from the original track.

Aww, thanks! Yeah, I had been playing the game too and I loved this song in particular. (But all the songs are great!) As soon as my mind noticed the similarities in atmosphere and tone, I immediately dived into my DAW for several hours, haha. Ninmark's work is such a soft spot for me, especially the orchestra hits.

As someone who'd be following his works for a while too,I was elated when I saw him start releasing the ost on his channel and already had high hopes for both it and the game and I'm happy as hell to say that neither disappointed. But to comment more on the remix itself,I love your instrumentation and the way you use your drum beats just bring me so much joy.

Shucks, that means a bunch; I'm very flattered you like my instrumentation! I especially love that snappy tone of the Korg M1 drum options, personally. The kit I'm using is the same stuff the SNES MMX games derive their drums from, because man, those drums hit *hard* and it's a guilty pleasure to use them whenever it's appropiate.

So this is the MM12 Wily Castle theme. Much better than I thought Capcom was capable of. ... Whaddya mean it's not Capcom?!

Man, if and when a new MM title actually happens, if Ninmark helmed that soundtrack it would be an absolute dream. I like 11's OST and all but the Ninmark energy is so good!

That song is so good! And complex, honestly, haha. If I find a way to do it justice, I'd certainly love giving it a go someday. I'll throw it on my "Songs to Consider" list!

Considering how blunt Kai is, that makes sense to me! No matter Wily's grandeur, Kai would definitely just force his way into the castle to finish the job.

@@korshalvalent yep, and he'd wall kick up the walls just to reach him simple and easy, it just takes a long time, but one thing is for sure. doctah wahwee will last much shorter against kai because he ignores i-frames
