I'm trying to catch up on all the live streams you have been posting. It's funny that I just got to the one where you got very excited to actually find wild spawned penguins. Thank you for all your hard work.

@Steve - For the Moschops - you dont get the bonus gathering levels while mounted. You need to press "C" after attacking a few penguins, and it regurgitates the "extra" bonus polymer that you should have gotten. So that is why it looked like you didnt get much .

finally after 6 weeks of not finding polymer, I finally found it. so much to build now, ty Steve I wouldn't have made it without you!

Additionally, tame some Achatina. Put them on wander and they will make Achatina paste which is a sub for cementing paste and organic polymer when on wander. Yes you need to make sweet veggie cakes to tame and feed them but I only pump points into their food stat so it is few and far between that I actually need to feed them. Bonus, they will store organic polymer 3X longer than normal so they are they best place to store the stuff after a penguin murder run.

The spawns on single player aren't gone, they're just different. They spawn on the cliffs in front of the glaciers. It took me a while to figure it out but they're there.

Just might have to buy this game, only because I love checking out your amazing creative traps you make, waiting scorched earth ❤

Hey steve good method with the club but a pelagornis is way better it gets almost 3x more then the club does and its super easy to tame keep up the good work.

Pelagornis will harvest organic polymer automatically once the penguin is killed and at much higher rates. Edit: There was an update on PS5 a few days ago (12/3/23) that appears to have fixed the iceberg spawns for single-player. A dino wipe may be needed to start the spawns.

Not sure if you will see this nooblets but the waterless base exploit from survival evolved still works in survival ascended. And it's even more effective now since water tanks hold 5000 instead of 500. And they fill all 5k within 10 minutes of leaving render. This will make scorched earth and red zone bases on ab even more lucrative. Assuming they leave holes in the red zone where there is no radiation.

Thank for the single player info - I was just about to type that I don't have any spawns on the ice shelfs and the icebergs. It's pretty annoying.

Steve the moschop maybe buged but if you whistle attack on a dead one it Harvest more poly then riding it...

For the moschops, you don't ride it to harvest. Once the penguin is dead you whistle "attack my target" on the corpse. You'll get alot more.

Its surprising that the game hasn't come up with some formula to make your own, like eggs and thatch, or eggs and oil.

The real question should be how to get Black Pearls as it requires a bunch of preparations and finding a video on in specifically is hard to come by that is correct.

If you want to harvest penguins, tame a pelegornis. They can harvest polymer very well.

Yeah. Playing on single player there are zero penguin spawns on any of the icebergs. Not one. They are only on a couple places along the coastline in the snow areas for me. Not sure why they won’t spawn in on the icebergs.

The best way to get larger qty of organic polymer is to build yourself a Grinder then throw all of your extra loot in it and grind it up for loads and loads of free resources. One grinder full of gear produces on average 900 org poly at my single player settings.

Tips for moschops: Use the right click to harvest the bodies. If it stops harvesting, hop off then back on to fix the bug. You DO get the increased polymer (based on your bonus harvest yield star) while riding them and using the right click harvest. If you kill penguins with the right click attack, they won't be knocked back at all so they won't fly off the burgs. I've found the best way to speed this along is to stab penguins in the head with a pike (Aim above them, not at them) and launch them into a loose corpse pile, then use moschops to harvest. Just be careful not to attack near corpses otherwise you'll harvest with the pike instead and lose out on the bonus.

You can use a frog as well.

Is anyone else having issues with it restarting or even blue screening your PC when you try and load the world in on SP or a dedicated server?

Does the soap trick work in ASA? Crafting the organic poly into soap for no spoil storage.

Get a male and few females. Get a Pelagornis. Make a farm in your base.

Is the club better than a chainsaw?

I envy you guys able to play. I had to stop playing. Because of a serious xbox ASA save bug (crash?) The game is unplayable for me until they fix this. No mention of this issue specifically anywhere from the devs 😡

No wonder I never find them...the areas you showed are full of wolves and carnos. They stand no chance lol

Tame PELAGORNIS - it harvest ~100 org poly from non adult penguins. There is more, Pelagornis has 80% org poly weight reduction.

Did they nerf the moschops? Mine doesn’t harvest sometimes and sometimes it does when I hop off. Strange.

Can someone explain why do I need organic polymer if I need normal polymer like what does the organic one do?

The best way to get poly is shredding a cave with a Sabretooth and mixing it with stone provided by a Deod. Easy, quick, simple.

Anyone having trouble with penguins spawning in there solo games? Have a few mods that add Dino’s. Done a Dino wipe multiple times and still not penguins.

It was supposed to be patched in recent update, but if your tame has trouble chomping a corpse, just pickup and drop that corpse. Also moschops right click gets more, and the word is unridden moschops harvest significantly more.

I believe the sword works even better than the club.

Just went to the iceberg, not a single penguin. Idk why but this game just hates me, or its cuz i just discovered the land.

Bro…… moschops isn’t harvesting cause your using the wrong button 😂😂 come on bro if your going to do a video know what your doing. The best way used to be get a lightning wyvern kill them all the harvest with a moschops
