I was actually digging around Snail's recent press releases and Q1 2024 Financial Report earlier today... ASA has sold roughly 2,0 mil units since launch.. ASE has sold 0,6 mil units in Q1 2024.. The fact ASE is still selling relatively well, considering its "outdated" shouldnt be a highlight in their report.. It should be a warning sign..

Just today game crashed on ps5 was transferring to scorched earth and my character has gone. Over 500 hours of play lost. I don't think i have i have it in me to start again RIP.

Massive improvements? Let's see if we can get them to make small improvements like fixing 9 year old bugs or having 20 creatures out and none of them fall through the map. Just functionality is almost too much to ask of this group at times...

So take a survial games mechanics: food,water,heat,cold, night, day, etc. Add in prehistoric creatures, allow for builds to be created like minecraft = home made Ark called something else, cant get sued as they can't own prehistoric animals and cant copyright a genre. Outclass them with thier own game.

I've been saying the same thing. I'm guessing most of them are unofficial or single player and have to many mods activated. Or they are using subpar hardware.

Ark is basically going to become just like fortnite its not going to have its own identity anymore just be a hodgepodge of different IPs. I'm not surprised at all that they are doing this i knew they would do this the second they made a point of showing the Micky Mouse skin or hell even back when they said there would be paid mods. All of this is even worse when you consider that they basically just copy-pasted the old ark code with little to no improvements.

Still having spawning issues with mods or without i tried the island without mods and cant find trilobytes and tons stuck in rocks, my modded island nor center garugas mods dont work for me even the paid one

I got the pyro. It’s actually very helpful on single player. 5 bucks seemed like a limit for me. 10 bucks for visual skins and the game still has issues? I can’t justify that

I can't even get my nitrado server to run, it was constantly crashing when the pyro dropped, nitrado claimed to fix it, 4 hours afyer the "fix" it wasn't even starting and now nitrado refuse to refund me because I'm fucking done with them

Not too mad at this to be honest, but it does suck that they have more pay to win stuff in the pipeline. If the advantage dinos and items were included I think I would feel better about the skins costing money. I'm still not buying the skins though

Unless we all decide to completely stop playing the game as a whole until they improve, balance, & fix the bugs, nothing will happen at all. Boycott the game and see how much they start listening after that. Especially since literally ALL their media and advertising are streamers that choose to promote them.

This is the second remaster of the game I don’t care if we have to pay for it and they did listen they dropped the price from what they originally leaked out for the game the fact salty players are complaining about skins and some nice tames behind a pay wall it’s not game breaking if don’t want to play the game then don’t they giving us new shit this what ASE should have been with mods etc game runs much better ASE ever did in it early stage of development beautiful map and not just some bland map with no folliage you want complain about people losing characters and stability issues fine but be fair and look how ark was when it first released Dino’s had almost no animation I had spinos sliding across the map

I'm not surprised the game runs like trash. ASE ran like crap and was fixed by PC Hardware upgrades and 2 console generations. (Well, 1 generation plus the mid gen upgrade of One X and PS4 Pro) They didn't know how to optimise a game, then and still don't know now.

to say we should be getting all of these things free is a bit much man. to claim the tall tales as trash is wrong. you can use that stuff on every map. its not scorched exclusive. i know that 2/3rd of the content for it is still yet to even come out but id even pay 10 for the western pack as it is. the MMPR pack is a little pricey for JUST skins. all be it like 15 total skins. I WANT THE MEGAZORD! lol. while the pyromane is almost useless in the center arena since its half water, its still pvp pay to win. i hope the rest of the the Fantastics are not that damn powerful. luckily for the rest of the premium mods most of it goes to the modder. Maybe WC/snail needs a bug specific team to fix the problems and let everyone keep cranking away. i know it comes from a place of love because we know the game can be amazing. .. but the amount of trashing that comes from the ark community is pathetic.

Pissed. hell yeah. just started over. the scores are warrented. it is buggy as hell and frame rate sucks ass at times. but i have 300 hours in ASA already and have made money on it. its done me ok enough. idk we can bitch and moan all day but does it actually fix anything without trying to find an alternative than sitting there arms crossed "im not playing that". i get where you are coming from with that. i also live in 7 days to die land

Ark is the fruit salad of games.. coconut and nuts included. Time and resources wasted that could have been spent towards optimizing and squashing bugs. People spending a single dime during beta/early access clearly support the abysmal state of the game. No integrity whatsoever.
