thanks for taking the time to actually do these taming vids in vanilla conditions without any actual cheats so everyone can have some idea as to how to properly tame them.
I learned in this video about the game code that spawns in additional dinos when taming. I noticed that pattern while playing but figured it was just my own bad luck, turns out it's a feature! haha
You can actually see this taming process is authentic as Steve shows what can go wrong. Not like other youtubers who are making taming videos as soon as the dino is released whilst they are in god mode and 10 x times taming speed. Syntac, cough, cough...
I really liked Nekatus's take on paid dinos. In a couple of years we will be playing Fjordur and every 5th creature will be paid and will send you to a storefront when you try to interact with it. Thank god I can disable them spawning on my servers.
You and Doth really are the best tutorial Ark creators. Thanks for making quality, in depth videos that clearly took more thought than some "other" creators who do 10 videos a day, all shot in one take, overexaggerating all the details.. You really do "teach" us with your quality content!
My only note: Deep water areas are where they spawn in terms of map locations, but they actually tend to spawn pretty shallow, more like Basilo depth, not what you'd think of as Tuso/Mosa/Plesi depth.
Hi Steve! Will here, and today I have a question for you. But before that I just want to say that I have been following you for a few years now and I always like your videos. The question is this, is the Shastasaurus breedable?
Am i the only one struggling with this? I'm playing on an unofficial server and no matter what I do more than half of the time the leeches hit box doesn't register that I hit it and I have to try over and over again. Absolutely destroys my taming effectiveness and the whole process takes so long cause I keep being unable to get the leeches. I've tried all sorts of positions and anything else I can think of. Anyone know of there's a way to overcome this?
I'm noticing a new trend in taming where you are doing much more than knocking out and feeding. On one hand that's pretty awesome. Of course the other hand it's annoying. Also seems like the methods of taming are getting more difficult for each new creature that comes out. The new paid Pyromanes are an interesting tame method as well,
I noticed if you run into that issue then purposely hurt it before the timer goes down. The effectiveness doesn’t go down as long as you hurt it before timer goes down. But of course you’ll have to hop on the dolphin and de-Aggro and avoid getting hurt by hit
How do you get your water so clear? Please help. I can't be underwater because it makes me dizzy but your video didn't make me dizzy because it's clear.
Imagine if they optimized this fucking game instead of making this dumb dino... What is the fucking point of intruducing these teaming mechanics that doesn't work well on official servers due to how bad the ping is on them..... All the new dinos in my eyes are single player friendly only...
Are they even planing to fix the ping? It's going on for months. I literally played 1h after premiere and I'm coming back from time to time to check if they are doing anything to fix it, but they don't.
I can't stand all these big time streamers post vids ten minutes after an update giving you a "guide" they call it where their not only playing on boosted to the moon rates but still figuring whatever out aswell just tryna rush a vid out looking at you rass clark then we got the good ol reliable nooblets keep up the good work I can't wait to see your guide on pyromanes
