Hello everyone, today we will see how to build a raft to tame almost all the dinosaurs in Ark: Survival Evolved Ascended. This build will allow us to travel across the map with most of our resources and works quite well to start with. It will enable us to tame almost any dinosaur near the water's edge without worrying about creating a trap in each location. We'll be able to tame almost any dino solo. I hope you like this build. This is so unnecessary. All you have to do is just build two walls high on a 5 x 5 square with ramps on one side so you can kite whatever it is over the edge. And any smaller dinos after you have an RG or quotes can easily just be dropped straight in. If you’re worried about small dinos escaping it just make the first floor windows instead of doors and the second floor doors so they’re more open. Way easier than this way less resources way less complicated just do that. And if you want to modify it to where it can also act as a birdcage and capture flyers 1st of all, I don’t know why we need that there’s only like three flyers even in the game right now, but fine you were just capital off with a 5 x 5 square of ceilings and replace one side of it instead of having a bunch of walls or windows, you just have a dinosaur gate or behemoth gate of your choosing, which you could open and close it soon as they’re in there And thanks for the pick up feature. You can easily pick these up or put them back down whenever you need. Problem solved.

@theomnidegenerate5236 Sorry for the delay in responding, but I had an issue with my channel. What you're saying is true, this raft was created for specific purposes. It can be used as a public trap and was created at a time when there were no cryopo so that anyone could take out the dino without any problems even if they weren't the owner of the raft. Now, with the use of cryo, the system changes and I will bring it to the channel soon. Greetings, and thanks for the input, greetings.

Sorry for the delay in responding, but I had an issue with the channel. This raft was made on an official server, but it's no longer necessary because Cryopods can be used now. Hello and welcome to the channel @aaronb183. In this raft, I used all the possible structures it can carry, so adding another floor is not viable. However, I must clarify that this raft was created for the early game when there were no cryopods, so its usefulness is not very significant now. The design is good, but not for living on it. I recommend you look for another design if you want to live on a raft, and remember not to go to deep areas because whales will sink it. Thanks for watching the video.

The raft works great. I did unfortunately get stuck on a rock and had to disassemble the entire raft. Luckily I was able to break the rock and free the raft. I wish we could pick up the raft once built.

@oliverthomas4393 Hello, this raft was really useful back when there were no cryopods. Nowadays, there are more efficient versions since we can use cryopods. The Rex section does work, but if the server is lagging, it might fail. I hope you continue to enjoy the game. Best regards.

@harpaxpteso4153 Hello, and sorry for the delay in responding. What you're experiencing is due to server lag. Sometimes, dinos don't detect the wall and pass through. Since this is an issue with ARK, I'm looking for a new way to make the raft more functional and hope to bring it to the channel soon. Greetings.

This is a great raft/trap, I love it. I managed to tame my first Baryonyx with it, didn't go as smooth as you made it look (my fault). I am wondering will this trap work for a Spino? How about a Yutty? I am going to guess it will work for a Yutty, but I figured I would ask.

We have the argy chase someone on foot. It paths right under the slanted roof and you open the double door and it will be stuck.

Hello, I created this boat back when there were no cryopods. Nowadays, there are much better boats for transport or trap purposes. The idea behind this boat was to be able to take out each tamed dino without dismounting. Best regards.

Just started on ASA Official on Xbox yesterday night. As someone that’s been playing since legacy, this gave me so much nostalgia. I started out as a raft tribe way back when (due to convenience & because of pillar spam). I love all of ARK’s expansions from Primitive to Tek, but it’s so much fun getting back to the roots for a while. Leeds still give me a rush of a adrenaline like no other. 😂

Love this build and I'm attempting to build it, however, when I get to 7:11 to place that wall it's giving me an error saying "Can't place stone doorway: This structure is too far away from the platform!" I'm not sure if I've done something wrong, but am pretty sure I'm following the video exactly.

I got that too. I didn’t lower my structures like he did tho. I used the wood foundation fence with pillar so tomorrow I’ll make a second raft then transfer everything on the new one and just try to drop the foundation like him. Just gotta figure out how wasn’t working for me today.

Hello @Tralfeyn, this error can occur because you have more than 2 ceilings beyond the foundations. In this case, the game detects it as if there is no support. Nowadays, there are slightly better options in terms of resources. However, in terms of functionality without cryopods, this is the best version I have managed to build. Best regards.

Wouldn't it be easier to just make a 4x8 boat, then enclose the back 4x4 with dino gates? The front 4x4 is a ramp and where you put all your stuff. Now just park the boat on the shore and run whatever you want to tame into the huge pit. tranq em, feed em, drive off (once unconscious they wont' clip anymore) This is the style of boat I lived it for all of A:SE and it doesn't seem like anything would stop that from working in ASA

Too bad unlike ASE that actually let you roam the island map with a raft, ASA's new map design added restrictions to the rivers/swamp so you can no longer tour the whole island with rafts.

As a day 1 raft ark player, I bought ASA to get back into casual play and wondered if anyone still kept raft ARK alive....I never thought doors could trap like that. Questions - Could you show how flyers are trapped in this? Also, I wonder if you can use one side for all trapping and the other side as a tame storage? Maybe since we can pick up foundations now, could you make a hybrid taming side where we can rearrange it for whatever we are about to try to tame. Also do we have a defense against leachseeds? I was thinking about getting some baryonyx and have follow my raft so they can stun if an alpha or one ever come close.

Hello, the truth is that this raft is just for starting since living a complete life in this new Ark is not possible. This is because the navigation limitation of the raft has been greatly reduced. Soon, I will create a more focused raft to serve as a base for aquatic breeding and a provisional base. In response to your question, in this raft, only the Argentavis trap is integrated because it is the only dino that follows you to be enclosed. I built this raft and it was good the only complaint is building it where you drive the Dino entrance for the trap onto the shore. I had a hard time trying to position it as close to the shore as possible

The ceiling at 8:01 won't place on mine, it says it's too far from the platform. I redid the whole ship, and this time the door frame at 7:12 said it was too far from the platform. I like the intricacy of the ship, but having to redo it without knowing if it's gonna snap or not is kinda frustrating.
