If you like me, a pillar prevented baby from interaction.....you need a grown Giganto raptor....after you unalive the parent, use the tame Giganto baby perk to claim the wild baby.
I love the fact they were real quick to patch trapping gigantoraptors but can’t patch the fall damage glitch that happens when landing with a rhynio. Ended up losing one over that.
"HUGE" "MAJOR"... The only thing that fits in those categories are optimizations to the core gameplay code that continues to plague this game. I can't understand why some content creators and members of the ARK community accept all of the gaslighting WC spews out.
Yeah and on official servers the baby dont start its animation when structures are around doesnt matter if your own or others a single pillar is all it needs to prevent u to tame an gigantoraptor very sad move
@@Kodeations yes sadly, it doesnt matter if its a structure from you or from some other peoples on the server (on official at least). Before the update that stops trapping the parent that fact didnt matter but agter yes every structure prevents it, on our server we have just found one ONE single spawnpoint not blocked by some structures all other spawns are normal but as soon as you enter the nest after an hour waiting the baby dont do its little danceoff with you, only at places without structures, you can test this with an piller if you are able to place it it can be tamed i hope they fix this soon
How about trapping it in dino gates doing the mini game for the two times it allows you before releasing the parent letting it check the nest an then trapping it an rinse an repeating that?
I struggled my server has heaps of pillars I started killing theris on sight I heard it shares a spawn and yeah one spawned in at my secret local theri spot. just got my first one don't know if it helps or not good luck hunting I needed it lol
I love how they completely screwed pve players by making it impossible to tame if there's nearby structures knowing that all pve servers are pillared everywhere, Like why not just make it where the parent has to actively be eating a egg in order for you to tame the baby like that solves the issue, and most people trap wild dinos to keep them safe like I've seen the giga raptor die to dymorph a dawns which is lame af
Taming legit is easy anyway, it baffles me that most ark players think they need a trap for everything, no wonder Wildcard made everything knockout tames, nobody wants to do legit mechanics, on boosted it only takes 1 mimic, on normal rates it's just a game of cat and mouse , if you have giga eggs you will have all the time in the world without the need of trapping
You have no idea, it took 20 mins of no failed mimics to tame a 95 on official before x2 rates for weekend, you need HUNDREDS of giga eggs as it lasts 20 seconds tops per egg.
Yeah, I mean the game is meant to be played a specific way and I am all for it myself! I enjoy the way it is intended but yeah a lot of people want something easy!
This nerf was stupid and completely out of touch with the community. I hate it & it ruined them. Now were just breeding Super Birds & wont bother taming them. I hate wildcard so much.
I like this current way too, I laid out 5 beryonyx fert eggs it was fun. I little stressful but once I went through the whole ordeal I feel better for next time.
