On July 25, 2024, Attorney General Tim Griffin filed the first state lawsuit against Chinese e-commerce company Temu for violations of the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and the Arkansas Personal Information Protection Act. Griffin alleges that Temu is "functionally malware and spyware" and is a "data-theft business that sells goods online as a means to an end."
