1. Deal huge damage 2. Can attack all enemies in her S3 range 3. Unique crowd control 4. Her attack has a chance to ignore enemy defense 5. Her S3 also hit aerial enemies 6. Her S3 SP only 24(M3) Seriously dude, She deals a lot of dmg with a skill that cost just 24 SP
its also on attack SP not over time SP but yeah shes complete OG chen powercreep 3200% single target damage vs 3000% AOE true damage + 300% phys pretty fair if I do say so myself
I don’t know much about her because i am out of orumdums but if she changed her target to air. She should work well with at the very least Cutter and Glaucasus right?
@@wattozzchimera1956 yeah cause her talent has 100% chance to ignore aerial enemy's 50% defense. While for ground enemies, it was 50% chance to ignore 50% enemy defense
@@nitronome Yeah, per hit SP regen is kinda take time but her talent will increase her atkspd a little bit and you can pair her with any SP regen operator so that it not gonna be a huge problem. She's not a musthave operator but she might the best operator for cleaning a huge group of enemies.
You now she means business when she's the first operator in the banner having a showcase from Ucky and she can solo DPS SK-5 Also ig HG took Ucky's master move and made it an operator... THE 360° NO SCOPE SPIN
patiently waiting for dmc collab with arknights :v since capcom x arknight collab was announced at cn :v gotta reunite bibeak and irene with their respective counterpart :v
> Kiana voice > wide forehead and short eyebrows motif > cool looking weapons and overall design > badass skills with a brand new mechanic > one of the two guard archetypes that can attack drones > scar Idk about you, but she's the one I'm saving up for next
I want to say that all the Dualstrike Guards can hit drones. Cutter's S2 deals bonus damage to drones Bibeak's S1 and S2 can hit aerial enemies Tachanka's standard attack and S2 can hit aerial enemies (because gun) Chen's S2 can hit aerial enemies And Finally, all of Irene's skills can hit airborne enemies (because gun)
Rie Kugimiya in general has had one of the biggest careers in anime to the extent that you'd be hard-pressed to have NOT listened to her voice at least once. She's also one of my favorite Japanese VAs ever, and I hoped for her in the game since forever. The fact that she voices a character I wanted playable since I first saw her, drawn by one of my favorite artists in AK is just the cherry on top.
I love her. Sword+Pistol is one of my favorite weapon combinations, and the fact the Irene uses a rapier only makes it better. Her S3 animation is awesome as well. I hope Fiammetta is kind to me, I don't want to miss Irene or SpectAlter. Man, wanting both Operators on a limited banner is rough, huh?
We needed this operator, if H9-5 and H9-6 proved anything its that we lack aerial burst users to deal with flying enemies. We only had silverash and ch’en alter prior to this one. This is an amazing units and she’s not even buffed in this showcase, you can only imagine.
Damn she's actually good. I wasn't expecting much from her since Spectalt took all of the limelight but her S3 is actually pretty amazing, big damage, hits multiple targets while still being a great single target option on top of having crowdcontrol? Thank god she's a banner mate so it's very easy to pick her up while chasing for Spectalt. Additional info regarding the S3. It's essentially a guaranteed stun to all units within range that lasts for 4 seconds to light enemies and 2 seconds on heavier ones. 2 second stun is still pretty damn good. Oh and also casually doing 1x300% + 12x250% damage. Nbd. An easy way to somewhat imagine this is Ash's S2 as she also does 250% dmg multi if she stuns. So that's near the ballpark of what Irene can do. Ash has more hits which is around 24 bullets more or less (not 31 since the stun doesn't last the entire clip so she won't get 250 on the last few bullets). But Irene actually has a bit more atk than Ash (624 Atk for Ash vs 751 for Irene this includes Irene's module) I like her. Excited for her to come to Global. Would have skipped her if she wasn't a banner mate tho if I'm being honest. Which again, thank god she is a banner mate.
Her only problem is that her skill is offensive recovery. Her damage and utility is pretty high (with her levitate essentially being a stun) but it'll be hard to keep her alive to get all that SP when enemies in high risk can kill your ops almost instantly. In general content though, she's pretty good.
Hmm, seems like there’s a visual glitch where the basic attack effects reappear after she finishes attacking something and gets to turn back. Hope that gets fixed soon.
Wow, she's like Ch'en but better, where have I seen that before? 🤔 Edit: I did the math and Irene S3 deals the same damage as Ch'en's S3, but it's AoE, stuns ALL targets before the attacks, ignores their defense and costs less SP. Good job HG 👍 Maybe they should give Ch'en a useful talent instead of a 10% dodge (at least she's invulnerable during her S3, so she can deal with things such as the emperor's blade)
Assuming a target with 0 defense, Irene actually does more damage than Chen's S3 without her module. Ch'en does more with her module though, 3520% vs 3300% skill damage. Swordmaster's/dual strike guards have low attack and have issues with high defense targets and Hypergryph knows that, hence the 50% defense piercing talent. It's still not enough to one shot regular shieldguards or defense crushers though. But yeah, Ch'en's 2nd talent is dogshit, it also gives 5% defense lol. It's not even the longest stun in the game too, Mudrock's S3 stun lasts for 5 seconds in comparison.
@@maybemitsuha8003 I mean, Irene has almost the same ATK as Ch'en (higher trust bonus vs +10% ATK from talent), but also atacks faster, ignores 50% defense half of the time and needs less SP, which means she can not only deal the same ammount of damage to a single target as Ch'en, but she can consistently kill enemies with higher DEF and can charge her skill much faster. She's essentially what Ch'en should've been. Aside from the invencibility bonus that Ch'en gets, the fact that she focuses on a single target and the fact that she can lowkey act as a battery, idk when you'd use her over Irene.
@@napiski2260 Ch'en also stuns for 4 seconds with her s3 and has passive SP generation. She's still the better single target nuke, which has been her niche for a while now. They'll also work great together because Ch'en can help funnel SP to Irene.
@@maybemitsuha8003 talking about longet stun is kinda unfair considering Eunectes has a whole 18 second stun. Whatever enemy gits hit by that just doesnt get to play the game 😂 Overall id like Ch'en to get buffed or something. Im tired of her getting powercrept. I really like her. I just dont want her only viability to basically be drop in nuke, and a battery. I want her to be worth bringing period.
@Kiki Sw It's not even a matter of powercreep. They were bad from the start, but served a niche, but now that there are others that do the same (and are not complete garbo), they fall out of use.
Deko-chan is pretty stronk huh? Her SP gained is a hassle but Ch'en and Liskarm can help that. And I hope Ch'en new module could boost her power more than the current one.
