I LOVE LANCET(the robot)! Best unit EVER! Hes like a panic button unit, if you play a map that doesnt let you place as many units as you have in your squad, and dont plan on sacrificing units for your setup, you can put lancet in your squad and they do not affect the placement limit. So, you can only place 6 operators? Place down your 6 operators AND lancet. Lancet is essentially an emergency heal bomb for the whole squad which is GREAT when you're trying to buy time to place down a healer because you're focusing on using your DP to place other units early on in a level!
@@sw4gsmile595 operator W is actually gameplay wise, accurate tho. She's actually better than enemy W. Her attacks are more AoE, she can use mines. Her 3rd skill is the same as what enemy W uses. I think the nerf is only that, as an operator she can't wander around. And that the enemies are actually getting harder the deeper you are in the story. I got W during my earlier days in AK, like 2 years ago, I still use W up to this day, she's irreplaceable in my team comps. Despite having balans herself - One of the biggest W glazers (2024)
0:33 Kirin R Yato is an alternative version of Yato; it's from the Monster Hunter Collab that Arknights had before. The Kirin is a huntable monster in Monster Hunter, which is where the material for Yato's new garment came from. We also have an alternative version of Noir Corne from the same event, which is Rathalos S Noir Corne, and, you guess it, Rathalos is also a huntable monster in Monster Hunter, which is where the material for Noir Corne's new armor came from.
I like to think Wis'adel is so broken that the developers haven't released a new CC/pinchout yet on CN because they don't know how to make high risk a challenge for people who have her without making every other operator totally useless

By the way after the next banner and event, we will have a new limited operator coming W'isadel (W Alter) as the limited, and Logos as the permanent (Limited banners have 2 6* operators 1 lim, 1 permanent, and 1 5*, the exception is collabs which has 1 collab limited operator 6*, and 1-2 collab limited 5*s) W'isadel and Logos are really strong so I'd recommend saving youre pulls for them. (Limited banners also give 1 daily pull, usually some form of Orundum (The gacha currecy) event where you get some free, and a free 10 pull available in mail.
I think at this point majority of Arknights global community is saving every resource possible for Wisadel :D And is both for her being like uber OP as well as becasue it's W :D
Aye, gg on that clutch for W's stage. Gotta say, can't wait for you to discover the liberating feeling of Promoting your operators to E1. All ranged operators gets bonus range on Promotion and it will make your life noticeably easier when the medics and snipers can reach the 4th corner ranged tile. Gotta say, as a player that have finished all major content, it's actually amazing how Arknights' early game hold up, cause you haven't even unlocked Skill 2 which is the bread and butter for almost all operators that comes with Promotion, and yet i can visibly see you have fun with just Skill 1s that merely raises ATK and acts as a stat stick burst in these early stages. Can't wait for you to find out how Arknights Tower Defense gameplay evolves into crazier gimmicks and core objectives in the stages! I can assure you that you will have LOADS of surprises coming your way as the chapter goes on.

Crownslayer always teleport behind any operators that tries to block her. But it's fun to bully her with operators that can push and pull. Specialist operators are her weakness.. Or just shoot her down with Casters and snipers xD.
Well, good news AND bad news for you about W. First good news: She is in fact playable Bad news, she's what we call "limited" meaning unlike most character that become permanantly available after they are introduced, she can only be obtain on special limited banners at an extremely low rate. 2nd good news: There's a second version of her that will be introduce in less than a month, so it you want her you might as well start saving for her, she's completely broken (like way too much), and she's ALSO limited in this version too, wich mean your best time to get her will be that moment, otherwise you'd have to wait a full year and save 300pulls to spark her wich is a pain.
@@quirk1 300 is a lot, yes, but consider the free stuffs we get from the game it's actually pretty ok. W banner is near, maybe you'll get her in 10 pulls :))
@@quirk1 Yeah it's unfotunatly a lots of pulls required to get old limited, especialy for new players, that's probably the biggest issue of the game, tho once you're well established it's totaly doable. One description I often see is that the game is very generous and give you a lots of 6stars character, but it's when you want a specific one that it hurt. Personaly that's why I alway have been on the "I go with what I get" mentality, I think that's the best way of enjoying the game.

Kirin yato is the six star version of yato released during the collab with monster hunter. As for W, she is a playable unit but is a Limited operator, meaning you cannot get her from standard headhunting. But worry not, she is getting an alter which will be released in November alongside chapter 14 so you can save your pulls if you want to get her. (also her alter is THE MOST broken unit so far)
oh dont worry the enemies and stages later on does have more unique and fun gimmicks, you'll soon be malding with the rest of us when you get there, the game is just easing you into it. and its even more fun when you clash your units that also have unique and fun gimmicks glad your having fun with this strategy game
Cries in CC2 - didn't had chance to play properly during most of period, so ended up doing whole thing in one go. Considering i had no meta chars (Virtuosa, Lin, Gnosis, and few others) or some too low lvl, after 6 hours, did all side ones, and only managed to get to 360, then my brain was just fried up so much i could not even understand what am doing ;D
Five years in there are so many unique mechanics now, as they create new ones for every event and chapter and there are literally dozens now. It makes the modes where they mix and match amazing.
I have a tip for you: If you want many ops in a straight line, try this lineup; Any 1-block ops: Dreadnaughts, Charger Vanguard --> Defenders --> Long-range ops: Lord Guard (like Lappland) --> auto generate Vanguard This is what i usually do. Good luck!
@@quirk1in the Operators tab, clicking on a operator will open that operator ui, showing their stat, where to upgrade, promote (you have already known that i guess). The class is the icon on the bottom left, click on it to see what they do. For subclasses, its in the bottom right of the operator ui, clicking that section will show the subclass's ability, and their talents when you upgrade them further. If you don't understand, click on the "i" button on the top of the operator ui.
@@quirk1 on the operator page. upper right is job, click to expand then the symbols starting from top are vanguard, guard, defender, sniper, caster, medic, supporter, specialist those are the classes, then each one have sub classes. to see those, click on any operator for example jessica, below the skills symbols you see marksman, thats the subclass, and this one means that she targets aerial enemies first as opposed to catapult who is an artilleryman who deals aoe physical. but both are snipers.
5:34 her alter (Wiš'adel) is on a limited banner that comes out on Oct 31st. Would recommend saving pulls for this banner as Wiš'adel is the strongest unit in the game. Each pull on the limited banner gives you special currency, and with 200 currency you can also buy the original W.
I cant wait for you to try out some of the Side stories or intermezzi because every side story has like a gimmick or mechanic thats unique to any other maps
that kirin yato is a same person its just they decided to just put dual dagger on her to representate dual dagger from monster hunter collab while putting katana to representative long sword from monster hunter collab
but what is her weakness? Holes. she has very low weight, so you can bully her, look up some videos. is W on the banner right now? no. November 1st. ah, as for how broken she is, well in year 1 she's an AOE sniper which she functions but the kit has limitations. she gets an alter in November though, who just makes the entire map die. if you want her lore, theres the darknights memoir intermezzi and theres a pretty lengthy daggers inheritance animation.

Yes Yato and Yato Alter are the same but different timeline like other operator Alter let's say Yato Alter is from multiverse because of cross over from another game Monster Hunter and some Alter are from future like Texas, Reed, Siege etc... One thing for sure cross over op are true limited banner for arknight player so it hard to get a cross over Operator than limited banner 😊
"From the future" and "different timeline" aren't exactly the terms I'd use to describe most alters in Arknights, tbh. The only alter that fits to "different timeline" category is Skadi Alter. The rest are either just themselves in their best condition, themselves "in the future" (as in growing up, both in age and experience), or themselves with different outfit (MH alters and most summer alters, maybe except Eyja, don't know about her).
Nice vid, and tips about the stages is if you see a stage with a skull on it, it usually refers to a boss stage most of the time, and you can see the boss's information after trying the stage for the first time, Crownslayer can teleport behind your operators and W has a damage buff when her hp gets down to 50% as you can see her doing a super saiyan so most bosses will have a unique ability and a buff when their hp gets to certain amount or another way when you see it in chapter 4 and yes, W is a playable character but is limited and hard to get
W is playable bro and lucky for you next month her banner her alternate ( Wis'adel ) much better than the original W but the problem is you need many pulls to get her
@@quirk1yeah, she requires high investment, but she's so strong that you are unlikely to use a brain, so you can save for her, if that's your style (no offense btw).
@@quirk1 tbf, during limited annivesary banner we get alot of free orundum through a daily lottery, a 10 pull ticket for the limited banner for free and a free pull everyday till the end of the banner. It's still alot you need saved up, but alleviate it somewhat
You need to change your view of the Vanguard Class,they meant to be replaced into something better later on,some of em are not supposed to hold a lane, it's not a completely absolute tho you can still lanehold using em,but changing/layering something in front of em might help you
@@quirk1 dont worry no rush, main and side stories as well as intermezzi's are saved so there is mostly no fomo (unless collab event) so you can play the game at your pace. like legit the very first side event in arknights released 5 years ago, you can play right now if you want.

You looking for gimmicks? All chapters and events have their own theme/gimmicks along with their bosses Then the operators themselves also have what we call the subclass. The snipers for example consist of anti-air snipers, AoE snipers, anti-heavy armor snipers, etc. Have fun looking around
@@quirk1 Yea they're character subclasses. You can see their alignment on the bottom right when viewing operators. Jessica and Rangers for example are both anti-air
@@quirk1subclasse are especially important for snipers because it also determins which enemy they prioritize shooting. Anti-air for example will always shoot airborne targets first, even if it would be more advantagous to shoot a ground target. Or Deadeyes who shoot at the enemy with the lowest defense first
Amiya is the rabbit girl. She is the main character of the game lol. And just fyi, it is required to level her up to progress in story. Which is fine as she is worth investing in.

Its so fun watching mr big brain and mr fuck it we ball. We see somone with a brain who only uses mostly 2-3 stars breeeze through the game while someone who has mountain and lappland is struggling
one thing to note is that crownslayer follows a path that usually shows before she spawns and you can see her path is going around and her weakness is usually silence and in 1:32 lappland's talent silenced her so she cant blink past again. (also theres another weakness which is abusing her low weight, meaning you can push her into holes)
@arararagi-san yeah, event should start at reset today. Whatever the event stage is, it usually has a higher than average drop rate. The last three stages will be blue drops, just check which one drops rocks.

I'm kinda surprised because W has been on 3 Limited Banners but STILL isn't in Standard Headhunting, apparently. I'm sure another W Banner will come at some point. When I started, I think the first rerun was about 6 months after her original Banner in Global... but there are a lot more Operators, including Limited Operators, so it may not come back as often.

You are actually in luck with W. She is playable but was a limited years ago so is nearly impossible to get now... HOWEVER in November her final form, Wis'adel is the new limited for the anniversary event. No joke she is the strongest operator currently in the game, so you actually have a chance to get an even better W! Save all your pulls, there is absolutely nothing you can possibly get this month that will hold a candle to what's coming (including, sadly, even Ascalon).
