Arlen Ness Monster Sucker Install On 08 Harley Fatboy. Video shows step by step instructions for installing a Arlen Ness Monster Sucker on a 08 Harley Fatboy.
Luv the detailed install and explanation. Saving to get one for my bike. Every video I watched putting it on is rushed. You explained it and showed it and made it simple so now I know what to look for. GREAT VIDEO BROTHER!!!
@Tinkering With Harleys one person said that my K&N filter was too small for my 113" motor. Every motor has a cfm rating and is easily formulated. I contacted K&N who verified my filter of choice and was WELL within the flow rate.
@@tinkeringwithharleys what I was going to tell you I go to get on the gas it almost dies but if I go up threw the gears it runs like a maniac at about 75 to 80 mph it’s a s&s super I don’t know if it’s to much fuel or not enough I don’t want to pick your brain but is there a couple screws I can adjust before I take the carb off and do the jets and float bowl man I feel bad asking all these. Questions but I’m 64 years old and it’s been a dream of mine to own a Harley it’s even on my bucket list and if there is ever anything I can do for you please let me know I don’t even mind riding to Arizona to help you out with anything it’s kinda weird this all started with a broken coil I’ve changed everything but the spark plus coil and w ire’s jack shaft. And starter I think it’s a beautiful bike but everybody has their own ideas I have had so many people just walk up out of the blue and tell me so I swear win I get this bike dialed in I’m going to ride to Arizona take you out to dinner and shake your hand to say Thankyou for helping me make my dream happen I’ve put about 1000 miles on it since I bought it in September
Ok Slim, it's not uncommon when you buy a used bike to run into problems that the previous owner didn't tell you about. I'm sure it's a beautiful bike. So now to you're problem. It could be a couple of things, I'm assuming the bike ran fine until the starter problem, is that correct? Don't feel bad about asking me questions, if I can help I will.
I don't think you have a major problem, I think something is out of adjustment or possibly a vacuum leak. First I would check fuel line, vacuum lines if you have them that there all hooked up with no cracks. Also check the intake manifold, make sure it's tight with no leaks. Next check the timing to make sure that's ok. The lastly I would start with the carb. S&S carbs are great and easy to work on. Take a look at the stuff I mentioned first before you tear into the carb. It may even be a bad tank of gas. So check the easy stuff first and make sure everything is correct than go after the bigger stuff.
