I would stop by her restaurant every once in a while since it was so close to my college campus. She was one of the sweetest people I ever had the pleasure of meeting. Would go with friends who loved her food and she would even remember our names and faces and give out free food to whoever needed it. Everybody loved Mrs Kim, Rest In Peace to her.

We had the Three Strikes law in Cali for a while and it ended up being too rigid and too harsh. We heard of cases quite often where people were getting 20+ years for what were three pretty minor crimes, and sometimes committed over a pretty short period of time when the person was young. It wasn't in the spirit of what the law intended.
