My wife and I watched this in the theater and we became suspicious of our neighbors and others for a time! The national mood had been jarred by the OKC bombing and our government's shift of attention toward domestic terrorism. The reality of the attacks of 9/11 overshadowed any effect this movie might have had, though it had already run its course through the theaters and was on DVD, which we bought. I lent it out to other "tin foil hat" conspiracy type friends but most of them didn't like it. I still think it's a hidden gem of a film. Thanks for your reaction.

Great pull from the forgotten movie bin. I only saw this movie once because of how crazy it was. AOL was my choice of e-mail in the late 90s. Great reaction again, siblings.

That ending was a tough and sad pill to swallow. Probably why I only saw it once or twice since the theatre. Excellent acting by Bridges though.

Enjoyed this a lot! A Perfect World (Eastwood and Costner) and U-turn (Penn and Nolte) are excellent, lesser known, movies like this one.

Underrated masterpiece!

So underrated.

Try "To live and die in LA" A movie masterpiece. Probably one of the most intense films of its time. Stars William Petersen and Willem Defoe. It's about a Secret Service Agent going to any lengths to catch a counterfeiter.

Hey I like this one but I can barley hear the movie during your reaction. It's almost never this bad on other reaction channels, so maybe fix it if you know how. Good job otherwise..
