I can't help but think about whoever discovered this cabin in the coming days or weeks. 4 bodies in the well, 3 bodies in the barn, and 10 bodies in the house; 1 with an arm torn off, 1 hanging from the rafters, 1 with his face obliterated, and 1 final surprise body in the basement. Horrifying. Something tells me Minnie's Haberdashery is now known as Minnie's Murder Cabin and co-eds vacation there every summer, despite the deaths that still occur on a bi-annual basis.

@@JnEricsonx Honestly i wouldn't even say he was that racist. He said the N word, but that seemed to be more because of his heritage rather than true beliefs to the cause. Not to mention a lot of people back in the day did, even the ones not really racist. And he respected Warren enough to even call him by name *and* even showed proper respect by adressing him as Major at times. But in the end when all was said and done and it was just the two of them, he read and even complimented him on Warrens fake Lincoln letter. It's often said that people show their true selves when they know it's the end for them, and in the End he was ultimately friendly with Warren and showed respect. A true racist will never do that under any circumstance, it goes against their very nature.

True story, the part where she was playing guitar, it was an actual very rare, old and expensive guitar. When she finished playing they were supposed to cut, and a cheap knock off would be brought in and smashed. Easily in the top 3 of my favorite Tarantino films. Funny story: one of my friends is a HUGE Tarantino fan, he actually turned me on to his films loaning me a dvd of Reservoir Dogs. I have no idea how, but a little more than a week before the Hateful Eight was released in theater, it was already on one of those less than legal online streaming websites in dvd quality. I sent him a video on my phone, of me watching the new film (he didn't have internet access in the boondocks) saying "Gee...what is this? Is this the new Tarantino film the Hateful Eight? Oh it's probably just a clip..." I zoomed in on the the play length of the video and stated "Nope! That's the whole movie b####! See you tomorrow at work!" He was PISSED!!!!!!!

Some trivia: During the sequence where Michael Madsen hunts down and murders the man in the outhouse the song playing is from The Last House on The Left. Wes Craven (writer/director A Nightmare on Elm Street) first film and produced bySean Cunningham (director Friday the 13th). The guitar broken by Kurt Russell was broken by accident. It was an actual one from that period.Tarantino almost did not make this film after a copy screenplay was leaked.

Honestly this is pretty good but definitely way too long but that has always been Tarantino's thing...over indulgence haha. Really the only part of the movie that has me invested is Walter Goggins and Sam Jacksons chemistry and their characters' relationship. I'd watch a buddy Western with the two of them over this any day lol

The fact you're so triggered by "that one word" is exactly what perpetuates the issue. Get over it.

Not triggered just annoyed, it was over-indulgent. Could have been the word butt muncher and I would have been just as annoyed.

The scene when Domague plays the guitar & Kurt Russell bashes it into a hundred pieces was a real one-hundred year old museum piece that was irreplaceable; Tarantino got in trouble for it.

On an "unrelated" note, during the rape scene in "pulp-fiction" Ving Rames got pissed for having to do multiple takes so he "demanded" that make-up artists use "Black-Man Dye #5" & apply it to Tarantino's Ass so he could act as a "Stand-In" for the Gimp scene.

Back to basics. QT's debut.... Reservoir Dogs was placed in one location and a mystery. This was and still is a very underrated QT movie.

I have never seen someone look envious of someone’s ability to perform a snot rocket lol. I digress, this is the only QT movie that I had zero desire to watch more than once but it was fun watching you guys react to it.. cheers

That was a $400,000 guitar, rather than a 'substitute' which Kurt Russel smashed... the surprise was real.

Nominated for 3 Oscars Best Supporting Actress Jennifer Jason Leigh Best Cinematography Best Original Score, Ennio Morricone. Ennio Morricone took home the Oscar for Best Original Score, but had a huge falling out with Quentin Tarantino as Morricone was forced to rework the music to the film by having darker themes and even used the rejected score for THE THING in some parts of the movie, especially with John Ruth being poisoned. This was the last motion picture Morricone ever scored and the last Motion Picture that the Weinstein's produced.

The last movie scored by Morricone was The Corrispondence by Giuseppe Tornatore
