@@rqbrown1 Yeah, but Devon does it strategically, not just to be a d-bag. From what I've seen, he's all about the psychology. He gets in his opponent's head & it's over. Self doubt can be a powerful weapon. Works in the street too.
Devon's ability to catch the some of the best hits in the world, and either reverse them or slowly grind them back to a favorable position to ultimately finish the match is legendary. Unbelievable to watch.
@@johankaruyan5536 he caught his hit in round 1 and was unfortunately injured in round 2, still caught him in round 3 with a torn bicep. Round 1 and 3 were never a pin, either.
That guy is a coward tbh, they need a referee that's not a little boy and will keep up with these loudmouths. He just doesn't have the heart to call fouls on men that are physically superior to him. Bart has been slowly growing on me because he doesn't give a damn. His confidence is equal to the arm wrestlers.
Travis has to be the biggest douche in all sports.. it’s funny that everyone wants him to lose. I hope his scar from his lip is from someone beating his face and not from a cleft lip.
AJEEEM Or just not be biased lol. I mean it’s so obvious that any blind person would see it too. His elbow was literally not even on that roof anymore.
meh even in "real competition" the refs seems bad with rules. In WAL that just happened the refs were never calling todd's elbow fouls and he did that all the way into the finals
Dont even need to look closely its very obvious and that ref was either incompetent or biased either way this video should bar him from any high level matches cause he just ain't ready
That's not cheating. He knew he was about to lose 4-2 so he tried something different. Basically win the round by making Devon foul twice. Veryy shitty thing to do, but not cheating
in interviews he tells stories about playing basketball, playing Center and just getting beat up and beating people up on defence for the team and not really being a scorer, He’s a soldier and ate shit for an entire country multiple times the dude looks built out of patience
Scott Grudziadz says the travis fan girl. travis had to go and disappear and start his own league just so he could "legally" false start and elbow foul. travis is good and all but no need to ride his jock
Yeah, that's one , that's two straight times you had your elbow 3 inches off the pad to win first two matches. Score should have been 4-2 or 5-1 in favor of devon
What an incredible production and venue this was. Epic views and exceptional camera and audio work , so awesome how you can hear exactly what is being said at the table. Unforgettable
LMAO! you are one fierce woman. theres some real negative nancys on the internet..it is sad. i ve nothing but respect for Devon hope he comes to germany sometime i wanna test my might.
seriously what the fuck is wrong with you lol? Devon completely outclassed John when they were both in top shape back in '09. they re both champions of this game.
Getting a tie in left arm against Bagent while the referee is incompetent as hell in terms of detecting an elbow foul is super damn awesome. Devon is one of a kind.
I watched this ages ago when i was I was more of a noob to the sport and did not understand how dirty this was. Strange that Devon didnt lose his shit more about this!
Well, to make an argument for Travis, to move your position on the pad they allow for some movement of the elbow, as long as it doesn't move off the pad, now if your arm goes off the pad (in the air) for a brief moment, it's still legal. There's room for ambiguity and self-interpretation by the ref, there were a couple of instances where Travis fouled, only about twice.
@@bedford4383 it officially ended 3-3 tho Moreover Travis has a healthy winning record over Larratt overtime both hands considered (something like 13-6)
Devan Larrat is by far my Fav. Armwrestler, came in young and as an Under-Dog to climbing his way to the Top having beaten some of the Toughest Armwrestlers period. He's def carved out the spot for being known as a Legend in the sport and considering all the hard work and dedication he's done, he deserves it no doubt.
I m literally dying laughing guys when Devon starts talking in Batman s voice while still pulling "It s on It s on his elbow came off the pad" I m crying what a Champion my God😂😂😂😂😂
Wow. Epic. I didnt watch armwrestling in 2005 like I did 2020 but rediscovering Bagent and watching Larrat this was a destined match recovered from lost time.
@@user-in2dy1xv7m so you're basically saying that queen's move are not cheating do you know arm wrestling rules buddy? Like basic rules such as elbow and shoulders? Because here you can clearly see unless you are blind or idiot that the elbow are flying outanowhere
@@Dan-dd8cf man, all the times bagent won a round was a ridiculous elbow foul, even in some rounds Devon won bagent puts he elbow up and still did not win over Devon.
The expressions on Bagent’s face at 4:57 and 5:04 perfectly encapsulate an elite athlete’s psychological journey from the brink of triumph to almost certain disaster!
Travis is so fucking funny man. He’s one of my favorite personalities in the sport. Devon as an older guy now also cracks me up. We are living in a great time for arm wrestling my friends.
bro ikr i think im so cool with my 185 bench for 10 reps these guys are a different breed dude glad there's not many of these monsters walking the streets in the wrong way there power level is off the chartsi believe some of them are natural too a lot of is genetics size eat and rest
@@frozenpoopknife5236 I try to be pushing it at the gym with the old treadmill but it's down for now stupid corona lol. Grammar poor because when I'm watching fun vids like this I don't really care about correct grammar. As long as I make my point clear, good enough, lol
Travis is the king of that elbow lift on the initial hit. That first foul they missed and gave him credit for the pin, you could have driven a car under his elbow lol.
Devon is awesome but the only thing i dislike about him is that he wont even attemp to win a match without the strap. Kinda gets old. If you take away the strap then he has more he has to focus on...and whatever weakness he might have will be exposed so to speak. Well in saying that i guess my opinion is that the strap is his weakness. Hes weaker without it.
@@CAA85746 bruh he fucking posts and top rolls most of the time, and u just slip as u try to go outside and the opponent hits with toproll, U FUCKING SLIP THAT'S JUST HOW THAT WORKS
