Continuing from the plan I made last time, I take the APC to assault another outpost, where they send an A-10 in retaliation. Thankfully, Americans like to shoot each other so it helps me out some!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy the videos! Between running out of interesting missions to play and the game's community being outraged at the slightest thing which wasn't done the way they wanted it to be, it was pretty hard to find a reason to play A3 at that point. It's been long enough now that I wanted to give it another go though!

I did an Overthrow campaign on Livonia and remember the battle for this outpost. It was pretty crazy. I'm really enjoying this series!

I remember the battles on Overthrow being intense for the smallest things. Got to try the mission again soon!

@JackArden There's a community effort to update Overthrow, but I'm not sure how far along it is. I used my own patched version of Overthrow Plus the last time I did a aeries

Also, there's a way for you to both turn off/on the engine in vehicles and fast swap to the commader and gunner's seats in vehicles in the controls section in arma.

I don't really bother with this kind of stuff, but thanks. I've got a way to do it that's simple so that's good enough for me. No need to overcomplicate things with additional keybinds.

@JackArden fair enough. I only remember that when I saw you using the scroll wheel to do it. It comes in handy when your the only one in vehicles.

You can use IA as driver, and Still drive the tank yourself with the arrow Keys

Love the video as always, there are different things you can find in outposts, I found a laptop in one of the towers, not going to spoil it for you when you find one though

It may be a random spawn, which would explain you not seeing them.

Honestly that A-10 killing friendlies seems weirdly accurate if you look back in its history. Also kinda hate that they change the loot boxes having an infinite storage, i know there maybe a reason why they did it but it still sucks.

The white boxes used to have infinite storage? I imagine it was a performance change. To get an item into a container over the storage limit you have to add it via a script, so it's much more performance friendly to move items in a radius rather than to build an array of every item, add it to a dynamic script and then add them to an inventory as it's deleted from the world.

@JackArden I may remember them wrong, but don't you get the white loot boxes now when you buy a loot box at base? Or is it still the green one, I haven't played in a while, so I may be getting mixed up.

Yes they're the same box that you get when someone surrenders- the white one.

@@JackArden okay yeah then they changed it. The green box before had infinite storage and could hold a whole airfield worth of gear.

I can see why they changed it but that would be very handy. When you're clearing out the bodies in an outpost you've taken you already have control over the place, so it's better than having to run to and from the flag to constantly replace the white boxes.
