Both dayzmod and epoch servers are still up. There are still a handful of active servers.

epoch servers still average 25-40 people, you should get back into it

The time has passed they use to have many dayz mod feeling arma 3 severs that are now dead and gone devs moved on .

check out mod called Arma 3 Survival, that's pretty DayZ'ish and I have really loved it, it's low pop atm, but they working on a big update which will bring the player pop back

@@user-lu6cy7hm2t and also, the dayz engine has much better optimization, as in arma 3 with a high end gear its hard to hit 60 fps, in dayz its walk in the park

@@user-lu6cy7hm2t thats not a high end pc, ur pc is basiclaly thr best it can get, high end is 1080 over, and with ur pc in dayz u can hit triple that

Effusion is not being utilized to it max potential yet hopefully we see improvement within the year, im a console player and have seen no difference yet so we will see what patches can do

What looked so good about it? Arma3 dayz was a let down after enjoying arma2 dayz mod. Most of the servers don’t even have zombies on them for some reasons.

@@elliottwright9997 IDK why, you still can play, on DayZ Origins Mod of course, you just can't use the map elsewhere without it eventually being taken down, you'll get one that pops up for about a week or two on A3 usually, but that's about it, otherwise, it's still active on A2

movement? The sound of the MCX is tied directly to the weapon mod so it isn't using another sound mod over it.

Why would you want to play single player?

@@Knight10p Sometimes I just don't wanna be on an online game, I enjoy doing some single player stuff and fighting ai rather than actual players

I know there are singleplayer mods called "Ravage". They are a lot like DayZ but solo, although personally I'm having trouble sticking with them for more like maybe 2 days. I think Ravage Chernarus Redux was best from all I tried, since there was a lot going on. Namalsk was also good, but very, very devoid of resources and just feeling super empty. Very atmospheric though

@@Bowmannn yeah lol, sometimes I rather just chill and fight some ai, other times I wanna hold some dude up and get his gear. Don't see the issue with that

@@karlsvensson8649 It all comes down to turning off post processing effects for better fps, and installing reshade to make it look better with personal modifications.
