It was quite difficult to kill the BAD BUYS, but I have managed to kill the BAD GUYS as intended. I am a super rookie and this was the most concise short version of how to use multiple triggers triggered by a trigger. Many thanks, you have answered quite a number of How To's and I think I am ready to start my first mission.

Outstanding. I pretty much build missions so as command an AI section in SP....I know, masochist right? These tutorials and this one particularly have allowed me to create much more in-depth missions. Knowing how to use Tasks and Triggers properly really is a game changer for me. Lots of questions and requests but I know you`ve probably got a list a mile long! Still, many thanks for your time and effort chief. Cheers.

Super random, but just wanted to say thank you for making this video. I had wanted to get into arma mission making for quite some time but was always overwhelmed by all of the things the editor could do. Then I saw this video and most of your other tutorials and now I'm running my missions on a rented server with my friends. Thanks for taking the time to do these tutorials.

Well done. I appreciate the methodical approach you take to building out a simple mission. A couple of handy tricks you revealed as well, the spacebar 3 times to resize area triggers is brilliant, a big time saver. The file additions (Player gear save) are a huge plus, I used variants of these in the past...with mixed success. :D Thanks for sharing.

Great tutorial as a template to build more on, covering the base fundamentals - it's much easier to get more advanced, once you know this stuff so thank you - 30 minutes well spent, I just copied your mission and tested it, then started to edit for my own tailored version - thanks man

Im glad to find that. Im trying to remake (as best as I can) Goatman, an abandoned game we found on steam where you hunt this demon goat guy, but I wanna make it Arma 3 ified. 😛 Basically we drive, fly in, or somehow get to a preset FOB in chenarus or esseker or livonia or something, with maybe a campsite and some gear and we go hunt these monsters, but its Arma 3 so ill add dynamic zombies or spooks or mutants and we can drone strike hordes of monsters lol. Theres no goatman or minataur mods but theres plenty of dinosaurs and stalker mutants and skinwalker guys I could use.

This tutorial should come as standard with every install of ARMA3. I have had ARMA3 for over a year and have hardly touched it due to the impossible level of complexity it has to create missions and objects. Also, in watching this tutorial, I've discovered I need a degree in programming, which, luckily, I have, but it's 30 years old and rustily out of date. I will however, give it a try... Where can we get a list of the 'commands' that we see you typing. Also, how are you moving about so smoothly & quick? p.s. liked & subscribed 👍

Bohemia Interactive forums is where you'll find explanations of code used in the editor and in making scripts. The explanations are generally not very clear, but that's all we have.

Loving your tutorials - I've been using them to make a campaign for my gaming group and we're having fun, however I'm struggling with: 1) Segregating Simplex Support - can a single player be the only one to issue support requests, like a chain of command so others have to radio in for e.g. artillery? 2) High Command - I can't get this to work neatly. Is it just buggy? Units tend to still do what they want, even if I issue them waypoints. I'd like to my gaming group to have platoon level strength, so about 4 troops/squads each, but ooph... clunky! Thanks!

Hi, could you do a tutorial on how to create a mainly aerial mission. Maybe with the ability to create various tasks of your choice (perhaps by selecting it from a blackboard) and with the ability to fight against hostile planes with a random respawn .. I take this opportunity to congratulate your videos, I hope it will fulfill this dream of mine .. Maybe add some of your own goodies too. 😊

Hey after I switch from Eden to zues the unit icons disappear for any unit or vehicle placed I can still see them and there ai still works how ever I can’t command them or move them or edit them there just there anyone know how to fix this? And the option to allow Zeus editing just isn’t there

Check your trigger conditions. You've mixed something up in one or more of the triggers.

Sure if you want to do the same tasks over and over. You can save a mission and use it as a template for others.

So, you've killed all opfor, and the trigger didn't fire? Check trigger settings, you've missed something

@@OnlineCombatBN type "none", activation "OPFOR", and Activation type " Not Present". I'm using the SOG DLC if that makes a difference. Also the task is synched to another task that uses an area trigger for the players to move into a position.

@@ARMASPIRIT The Eden Editor is built into Arma 3. You definitely have it. Go to 'single player' and then select 'editor' or 'eden editor'.

Well that has nothing to do with this tutorial. You are trying to load a mission I didn't make and it's on the Malden map. This tutorial was made on Zargabad. Perhaps you might be able to locate whoever it was that made the mission you're trying to load and ask that person.....

Is there a way to have the mission start my team in its start point without having to choose which spawn point we want to spawn in? i have two custom spawn points set up near where our task are at (which is around 7km from where we start). I want to be able to just load into the mission where the team is placed at on the map in the beginning , but be able to choose which respawn point from the custom markers if we get killed. The only way I'm able to do this now is similar to how you did it in this video, by placing a respawn marker by the starting position. Any response would be greatly appreciated!
