I have a little bit, I like RHS for the new gear but it seems really imbalanced. I'm not sure yet but if it turns into another lockonFTW game Ill probably stick to standard KOTH until I can get my own game going without auto-aim stuff.
Do you ever play in first person ? It would be awesome in first person but with a VR helmet to see around inside the helicopter full immersion ! Instead of pushing the alt button to remove you from using the cyclic control and turning your head it's annoying :(
I really want to try this game in 3D. Its has been recommended that I get a head tracker and fly in 1stPP. For now I will suggest CallmehTommeH for some amazing first person landings and Pawnee action, check his channel out
That is a hugely underestimated factor in this game that so many people call a "simulator", no one would ever give a kid a military vehicle, it does however make for fun gameplay.
Misconduct, I have 1 question: how come your screen doesn't shake whenever you crash but still survive. my screen always shakes like a earthquake :P, keep up the good work tho. you're honest to your fans and i like that :D
i started playing arma due to misconduct about 2 years ago ive become a good pilot but can i ask do you speed up your videos. as im on par now but for some reason im 2 x slower then your videos. i can fly fast low and have a 70-80 % drop rate ie successful landings without hard landings as i hotdrop only and never halo. keep up the videos and hopefully il see you on hostile koth i fly under CryptoAndy and would love a few tips off the best. i have now 4900 hrs of arma and about 2800 hrs of flying just cant get them speeds. so for watching your videos cost me arma apex ect and a new pc just for arma 3 of £2156 without gpu thanks for the expense lol

Do you use Shadowplay to record or a different program? Shadowplay seems to drop my fps a little bit when I'm playing and trying to record in HD so I usually don't mess with it. My recordings always get all glitchy the way it looked in the video even though my gameplay was smooth.
Yeah Shadowplay slows me down if I use it (I have it set to 20 min just in case I miss something) I noticed using my SSD (recent change) for Arma and Nvidia has almost solved that problem for me
It's super satisfying hearing you commend me for my flying. I was seriously watching you fly in your videos before I even downloaded Arma. People have said countless times that I fly like misconduct, obviously your style has rubbed off on me
sometimes you can skid to a stop, and once in a while you get a lucky bounce off the ground. Dont forget that I cut out the times I do blow up, I do have a fails vid tho
Can you remap the controls? I assume you can. I don’t know if you could change the camera angle to be completely backwards but you should do that then map the controls so you can fly “normally” and do that for a video to freak out passengers.
You can remap the controls, but I don't believe there's any way to lock the camera view to the rear. You can look behind you, but it requires to go into "free-look", which sacrifices the flight inputs from the mouse temporarily. Helicopters don't fly very well backwards so it wouldn't be quite as epic, the anti-torque rotor is at the back for a reason. Funny idea though.
yeah the real trick is to keep the heli flying backwards, it really wants to snap into forward movement, if you are going backwards its like floating your hand out a car window (going fast) the air wants to direct your hand the same way that the heli does in game
nathan black yes but in arma you can choose between simple and advanced flight models simple (what he's using) is a less complex and more arcadey it also doesn't have stress damage meaning you have to hit something or something hit you to take damage and the helicopter won't take damage from high stress (I prefer a mix of both for koth I use simple as it makes landings quicker in most cases)
I think he was trying to psyche me out, or maybe hes just one of those guys that needs to trash everything. Guys like that used to make me crash, now it happens when people say nice things before we land, then BOOM... or maybe its just more noticeable!
Hahahaha i agree. I meet quite a few of those kind of people, where they just need to talk trash about everything. To be honest I just try to ignore them :D
SaiyD very easy to do this with mouse and keyboard used the littlebird on arma 2 dayz mod servers in combat and dropped off my team of 4 and got the attackers by suprise
Play Skyrim only in first person, or don't. Arma and Skyrim are both video games with available 3rd person. I like the way Arma looks, I like seeing my character/vehicle in perspective with the rest of this beautiful game... so I play that way... and I record it... and I post it on YT... and 12000+ people like seeing it. I assure you that being a first person pilot in this game will no sooner prepare you for a real helicopter than 3rd, as long as you are sitting on stable ground in your desk chair - you are not in a simulator.
Always shook my head when people bring up 1st vs 3rd. But to say "try" 1st person as if you aren't familiar with it is pretty funny. Bottom line for ME, 1st person has it's advantages in forward facing guns in the Pawnee, but 3rd has it's advantages for situational awareness and tight area landings. Maybe some people are better only in 1st person, but I say that just makes them less diverse... Without a TrackIR, then 1st person simulates a pilot with a neck-brace on and has to give up his controls to look around.
me personally like 1st person more as 3rd person. just because I am used to flying first. except for the landing. I always land third person because just like you said, to see the thight corners.
maybe people like watching gameplay the way they play it, and maybe they dont play it like its a pissing contest for those who dont understand that there is no contest or any way to measure it. Really you are just a dick.
