@@augustindecember3853 Mate he flew straight threw them lol. Haven't played Reforger but either these modded choppers don't have a proper hitbox or the powerlines don't. In arma 2 and 3 etc you will collide with them but not here apparently.

@@cagneybillingsley2165 Yeah, game is horribly unoptimized too, to this day. I think they are starting fresh with the new game they just released into early access (or something) it's on a new engine, I'm pretty sure I read.

In Arma 3 the wires have hitboxes...tells you how barebones Reforger is

Some games could be more real for more gigs and ram etc....If they were a hazard in another game or this game, dude would fly circles around them too...

Some helis actually have hooks that catch and slice the cables before they hit the propellers! Of course it's a last resort kind of thing but still interesting!

It really isn't that difficult. I don't understand why people praise this so much. Is it a skillset, yes. Is it a difficult skillset?? Not at all, I jumped into a rotorcraft on Reforger for the first time and was praised, I'm just sitting there like, lads, it isn't hard, just devote a couple hours of flying practice, understand how the physics work and you're set.

I remember my first Zeus game, begged the commander to allow me to fly the transport heli full of players for me to then crash into powerlines not knowing you didn't faze trough them 😭

yeah a regular roll and regular landing like I used to do with just mouse/kb. Joystick makes everything even easier so I don't see why this is impressive to anyone. Huey is a bit slow but more fun imo. It's not like I had some impressive skill or weeks of practice to land like that. Give anyone 6 hours in one bird and they'll be landing just like that but with 10% failure. With a name like Arma pilot, I'd wager they had a little more than 6 hours of practice. I just wish Arma could have had basic wind physics. It completely changes helicopter flight. Add in updraft/downdraft and flying becomes a little more challenging. I about had a heart attack when I felt a downdraft in Iraq. Apparently it's uncommon and pilots did not anticipate something so extreme (no bad weather indicators). I thought my life was over at 18 when we suddenly went totally weightless in our UH 60, and then an unexpected gforce slammed us into our seats. Some poor kid lost his rifle and it hit the door gunner on the way out. decades later I still play games like arma, just wishing for the thrill and terror I felt that day. Riding in helicopters is usually boring and I don't want that kind of excitement ever again, but I kinda sorta do.

@@gabriel-bl4ckh4wk-6 Sure I played Gta 5 , Arma Reforger, Flight Simulation 2020 When i compare all them i say that Gta is Super Acarde and Flight Simulation 2020 Very Realistic I would put Arma Reforger in the middle but more up because the Chopper like the UH-1 and Mi8 are way more heavy and they feel way slower when you try to maneuver them If i had a scale from 0-100. I put Gta at 0 and Flight Simulation 2020 at 100 Arma Reforger i would put between 80-85 It definitely feels realistic but of course not like Flight Simulation 2020 I really love flying in Arma

Awesome! IDK if they fixed it, but on the launch, pilots said that the physics of MSFS 2020 was decente but that X-Plane was the realistic one, much better, that was 3 years ago.@@ArmaPilot
