@@themonsterunderyourbed9408 ...You can stealth the mission where you extract the bionics expert by deadass popping a smoke grenade in a jeep, driving full speed to the bunker's entrance, snagging the expert, tossing him in the jeep, popping another smoke, and peeling out. If this video is using exploits, then you probably consider the smoke-jeep an exploit too, and you're wrong.
I know you're being sarcastic because this video isn't stealthy at all, but they are important sometimes. I specifically always have C4 to take out the radios.
@@TheFirstCurse1 Plus, explosions are devastating, *_LOUD,_* and most importantly: aren't you. As long as you count stealth as *Snake* not being seen, they're a great tool for... distractions. It's really cool learning to use them more (and really anything in unconventional ways), seriously sells the nonsensical, cracked-out espionage master Snake is meme'd to be
I'm honestly kind of tempted to buy it again for the PC just to do that leg sweep for an entire playthrough... 🤔I'm just not sure I want to face those supernatural machomen gank squad again...
Honestly, I have over 1700 hours on this game. I had to just use to timestamp to review this video to actually see it. I had deleted my save data because I literally wasted my resources grind getting a one hit kill weapon when I already had a weapon that would mame them to the ground and die slowly. I would take it all back if I could of had the ability to make the one hit killer with sleeper rounds. I was already arcing my shots on FOBs in between platforms so I think I did my best. Still have the game on steam but whatever
Bro I was watching the first minute thinking that it's a great stealth spec op, then clicked on the time stamp and suddenly the video became a heavy tank mayhem with the music on lol
@@gannielukks1811It really is. You can tell that this person really put in the time and effort to study this base and mission. It's amazing seeing how they make a complete joke of it with over the top shenanigans.
You'd think an enemy tank falling from the sky in the middle of an airport would be the least stealthy move, but then you remember it's MGSV and it's all just part of the Kojima program. I mean, it's a game that pits you against Voltron at one point, so...
I love how it starts out very stealthy and conservative before escalating without warning to using every support option and calling in a tank right in the middle of the base.
bro I've completed the story three times, two on PS4 and one on XBOX 360 and I never knew you could do a prone kick like that. this is by far the best MGSV gameplay I've seen. When you put on the tape and skipped it, I lost it I was like "this dude even knows all the tapes in the game"
Another masterpiece for the collection. Also, this made me feel MGSV is in desperate need of some 'drone perspective camera mod' to capture all these amazing cinematic moments from the proper angle. _(Does a bit of Googling)_ Well, it exists on Nexus. Although I'm not sure how easily it can be integrated into the fast paced gameplay.
Apparently it's been a thing since the original Metal Gear Solid... I recently got the platinum for it and I never knew you could plant C4 om a guard until I had to do it for one of the Virtual Missions. These games are insane
If you watched developers introduce for different approaches, and one of them was named "Thinking outside the box". Basically player used D-Horse to stop the venicle, a cardboard box with woman to attract attention of soldiers and C4, which were placed on a back of distracted soldier. After that all what player needed is to wait for soldires to get to their commander officer to briefing and blow the charge when it comes by.
The leg sweep alone was enough to impress me. The rest just cemented the subscribe. Elite work. One of my favourite games of all time played to perfection, love to see it.
@@iikeli727 lol, right? An underappreciated gem that only has sold 60 million copies. And won Best Action/Adventure in the 2015 Game Awards. Such an obscure game.
With out a doubt best gaming series of all time. Most unique and in depth gaeplay. Storyline and AI. Its so sad we wont get another real MGS game again
The guy in the video literally crouched behind an NPC and placed bombs on his butt without alerting him. Not to mention how much jumping and noise the player made and none of the soldiers cared the slightest. I dont get what you guys see in this game tbh.
@@lemonadeinmyveins9078 you do realise that if someone has thousands of hours in a game, they can be so good at it they end up breaking the game and do things that the devs never intended for to happen. This game is literally the best stealth game ever, nothing comes remotely close
@@lemonadeinmyveins9078you can play the immersive style. The suit he’s wearing makes the game unnaturally easy. But if you wear basic suit camo the soldiers will hear you sneak up to them. Also you can use mods to increase their awareness.
LMFAO no it isn't??? It was rushed, it's too easy, it has a bad and incomplete story with awful writing, the open world is terrible, most enemy bases suck, the upgrade system is bad, etc. The only good things about this game are the actual gameplay and the arsenal that the player has access to.
@@nickkohlmann I love how instead of trying to come up with a solid argument against my point, you just attempt to insult me with something that lost most of it's meaning 8 years ago. At least I took the time to explain my point instead of trying to insult people.
Oh, I dunno though... was he ever spotted, is anyone left alive to tell if he was spotted - and if he wasn't, or there isn't - was Snake ever there? Stealth... 🤔
I just started replaying this game recently and I am definitely going to go for more of these awesome runs. This game is so deep! After watching videos like this, I realize I barely scratched the surface the first time I played it.
Loved the gameplay style had no idea of the tricks that could be done and will try to add some of it to my gameplay when I can pure genius bro you got a sub from me!
Youre pretty good. Ive only attempted that mission in daylight 2 times and both times it became a shit show after the chopper spotted me or a sniper saw me sprinting across the runway. God i love the freedom and creativity Phantom Pain gives the player. Go at it one way then have to change everything on the fly because a soldier turned left instead of right whenever youre sneaking past them. I used to run non-lethal during my plays but ive switched to more of a mixed style. Not trying to keep/extract soldiers except for the higher ranked ones. My only complaint would be for the lack of goofy details that the other games had. And the radio/codec calles with the other members. Like in MGS3, calling Sigint after using the naked camo. "Snake, what's up? Why you naked?" "Because it feels good." "...ok whatever man, you do you then." "I will, thanks. Just one question though. Is there a way to take off my pants?" "Say WHAT?" "My pants.." "Ah hell naw! This Fox unit is a nut fest!" *Snake laughes evily*
What a ridiculously impressive game, i only played half of it when it launched, but seeing this now makes you appreciate what an impressive technical achievement it was at the time and still is. MGS 5 ranks up there with Red Dead 2, God Of War, GTA 4, 5, Crysis, Red Faction Guerilla, Warzone or Teardown.
The game is almost a decade old, yet clips like these never ceases to amaze me as to how chaotic and creative you could get in capturing outposts with the most outlandish methods... and still remain undetected.
Shit had already gotten real before you started playing "Sins of The Father" I saw you skipping parts of the track and I was like "THERE'S MORE!?!?!?!"
"Check all around the target and plan carefully before moving in" *Is already at the walls after sprinting in like a madman* Also this was so insane. The fact that you queued up the music at the end had me grinning throughout the whole segment
I haven't played this game in a couple years. I thought I was a badass. Now I'm reconsidering. This is on par with Skyrim trick shots. Well done! The timing alone must have taken a year to get down. 👏
