@@Drnken229 It’s definitely just not RAM but also VRAM. There are some games like The Last of Us that require more than 8GB of VRAM to run higher graphic settings.

I'm so happy that when you hit a tree or crash the helicopter doesn't explode on contact. right now it flops onto the ground but doesn't explode. It's going to add so much immersion in reforger and Arma 4. Crash land or have a heli rollover, squad has to bail and fight for cover/evac.

Before getting deep into the video, I really hope they mixed some "Take on Helicopters" into this as well for an advanced flight simulation that you can choose to use or not. Well they did it just a small bit.. but hey, better than nothing!

It’s on experimental for a month before releases to stable and the first aircraft to hit Arma Reforger Officially so think they just wanna get the flying perfect 1st.

Really exciting to see the increased detail in these helicopters cockpits. Makes me wonder if that increased detail will make it over to weapons systems in jets and helis when they’re added.

Arma 3’s basic heli flight model is the PERFECT balance between usability for non-flight simmers and hardcore players. It provides a sky high skill ceiling and a decently low skill floor; I hope it’s maintained going forward.

4:18 is engineer seat, right is nav, left is pilot, and you should be able to open the portholes in the cargo bay and shoot rifles out them as do Mi-8's irl

I used to play Operation Flashpoint way back in the day and I'm enjoying Arma Reforger a lot. I'm playing on console and there's just nothing that even comes close to what this game has to offer on there. It was the same case with Operation Flashpoint Elite. There was nothing like it at the time, except for maybe SOCOM US Navy SEALs.

Yeah that’s awesome Operation Flashpoint was worked on by Codemasters & Bohemia before they went on to make car games and Bohemia did the Arma series why there so similar. But yes love Arma.

The mi17 has that good old tanky feeling that the old arma2 one had, and the huey is not as nimble as it used to be but feels more heavy but lighter then the Mi. overall they feel really good.

There’s tons of modded ones Little Bird , Chinook, Mi-24 , Black Hawk and more these are official you can fly them on Arma Reforger Experimental or wait two more weeks ish for stable update 1.0.

No because there will be no mods 😂 all mods will be removed from the workshop and the modders will have to all re upload there own mod.
