Armada's Official TEAMS Tier List 

Mostly solid list but there's a few things i would change. Zelda is definitely leaps and bounds better than ness and bowser, i would move her up a tier. She has too many decent matchups in teams like Yoshi, Samus, ICS, etc. Ness and bowser have basically no decent matchups because they're in their own tier of terrible. Plus Link over Luigi seems improbable. It seems much easier to escape combos (luigis lightshield is insane for escaping and Link's roll is terrible) and close out kills with Luigi in comparison to Link. Plus Luigi is WAY better in 1v2 situations. And Luigi does way better against Fox which important.

Double Peach team got to Winner's Finals at GOML . If you go back in time Hungrybox and Leffen did serious work as a team , only to be defeated by these two mysterious players M2K and Armada if you’ve heard of them. Nice to see ONE hour of content 🎉🎉

Always liked Doubles more than Singles. Shame it never feels as important. Kinda surprised Luigi is that low, though. Luigi is really good at target switching similar to what was said about Falcon, and Luigi hits really hard and quickly. Well, you said to look at the top 9 and point out any disagreements, and I'll just say I would put Luigi at that 9 spot. I think he's better than ICs in teams. Luigi gets buffed hard in doubles imo. (And I'd also put Doc + Yoshi at 10 + 11).

I think Pikachu is underrated by this list, with Axe/Amsa being such a good team right now (probably Pikachu is the underrated one, I agree Yoshi seems worse in teams. When aMSa/Mango teamed up, Yoshi+Fox did not seem great, just couldn't do anything offstage, but just having pikachu on the team gives the team monster offstage presence). Falco being so high surprises me, I just...have not seen Falcos getting deep in major tournaments in doubles lately. Maybe you're right that the Falcos just haven't developed the character enough. But current results wise there's way more Peaches and Captain Falcons lately. (Both double peach and double captain falcon teams have done work. Double peach got an upset over Cody+Jmook. Double captain falcon almost beat Hbox+Plup; close 2-3 game). Obviously low tiers are a guess, but it wouldn't surprise me if Roy belonged like...one tier higher? Like D-tier? He has Marth's grab--same frame data, same huge hitbox. In 1v1 he can't do very much off that grab, but in teams it can be a KO setup. Roy downtilt is a nasty combo starter, just pops the enemies up right in Roy's face. (I mean, there's still the age old question of "why play Roy when Marth is RIGHT THERE." But...still, wouldn't surprise me if Roy was semi-ok thanks to the grab and the combo starting).

at SWT Finals 2021 i played against a team with puff doing RTC rests and other crazy rests in general then his teammate would always needle him instantly, that type of strategy with rest and needle or falco laser is too broken

I would say Puff is #1 imo, Pikachu a bit higher, Falco a bit lower (ahead of Marth in B tier) and Luigi ahead of Doctor Mario

In the context of "recoveries dont matter" and "long combos don't matter" (before last stock) I can't see Ganon being any worse than B. Certainly better than Ice Climbers. Hits like a truck, kills early, lives forever.

How can you rank Yoshi this low when Axe and aMSa have done so well in teams, consistently getting #1 or #2 in a ton of doubles tournaments at majors?

Great video! I'd probably switch Pikachu and Falcon, just because I keep seeing Axe do crazy stuff in teams (and Falcons accidentally knee their teammates). But maybe in an ideal teams chemistry situation, Falcon might beat Pikachu. Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
