Armada is the only player to make Peach have the reputation of a brick wall. Has been ranked #1-2 every single year. Has a positive record on every single player, makes Peach vs. Fox/Falco/Sheik/Marth look unwinnable unless you're playing at 110% which is fucking insane if you've ever tried to play Peach. Didn't lose to a non-god player/Leffen until Plup in late 2017 and Swedish Delight in a bo3 at Evo 2018. The only person I've ever watched live who I felt could touch both of Armada's characters on a given day was Leffen, and even then he's had moments where he's gotten 4-stocked and 6-0'd by Armada. in 2015, you could make the argument that Mango was the GOAT coming off 2014, but ever since 2015, Armada has been the indisputable best player to ever touch Melee. People who never got to watch Melee live before Super Smash Con 2018 don't know the fear of watching Armada destroy every single player.

I forgot how much I missed Armada. I remember when I first started watching tournaments to see how the game was played at high level. I vividly remember saying "This Armada guy is really sick"

It took me until Armada retired to realise how cool his playstyle was. I'm sad I didn't realise it sooner, because there's never been a player like Armada before and I don't think there will ever be another like him after. Also when I met him at Evo 2017 he was super nice
