The weapon shown on the thumbnail is a Yugoslav weapon, still used by the slovenian police. It is called "MGV-176" and was build by "Gorenje" for the yugoslav military and the police. The magazine could fit 161 round and also was .22 . It had a rate of fire from 1200 - 1600 r/min. It saw action in the 10-Day War and the croatian independence war. As said, it is still used in slovenia by every policeforce. They keep 1 in every police car. I do not know, who needed to know, but...

Is the Viper's drum mag, Slovenian MGV 176 and American 180 all cross compatible where you can use the drum of one for the others?

I think I will be needing one. I really want a transferable American 180 but this might help scratch that itch.

Oh man we need this in Canada. We have dumbass mag laws. 5 rounds for rifle center fire, Unlimited for rimfire rifle. While all handgun mags are 5 rounds. You can get AR pistol mags that hold 10. .22lr mags can only hold 10 if they are designed to work in a handgun. Because of the 10/22 pistol variant 10/22 mags are capped at 10. My 10/22 has a 597 magwell so I can get unlimited cap mags. Like wtf.

Hey I know this rifle. The magazine is a dead give-away, though I see they put the feeding block on the magazine now rather then sitting in the rifle. Well I hope they do well at resurrecting this old design.

They should bring back the American 180 but perhaps make it in 30 carbine or something similar such as 357 magnum. Boy oh boy would it would it have a little kick to it. I wouldn't mind though. Somewhere on RU-vid I saw a American 180 that was side-mounted with another American 180. I guess that would make it the American 360 LoL. If I remember correctly it didn't have a folding stock and was in a pistol format. Pistol but not handgun I just don't want anyone to be gunfused

$500+ for a .22LR rifle? I paid $199 for my Ruger 10/22 plus $30 for 2x 25-round magazines. My Ruger is not picky about ammo. I think The Green Man is right on this one. Was there a massive demand for 150-round magazines on .22LR rifles? Is someone expecting a zombie squirrel apocalypse?
