My city Dublin is twinned with the pool as it should be. At one time it was the Irish who came to Liverpool to work and live. Now it's the other way round there are scouser everywhere. One thing their great at, breading like rabbit's. Gizz a job, Yosser Hughes ☘️
The best city in the world, with an atmosphere like nowhere else. My dad was from Scotty Road, and when the foundations were being blasted for the Catholic Cathederal (Paddy's wigwam), my dad signwrote the signs for the company that blasted the foundations. He also signwrote most of the advertising boards down the dock road (including a portrait of my mum and sister on a bus Lol).
I'm Scottish but my Mum was a Scouser. She sadly passed away last year aged 84 . She was born in the Scottie road area .She married my Dad ( he was Scottish ) in the mid 1960' s and lived in Scotland ever since . She really missed Liverpool though . We ( My Mum, Dad ,brother and I ) often visited relatives in Liverpool though years ago whilst they ( the relatives ) were still alive .
Did she actually go to Liverpool to film this? It seems to be made up entirely of clips from earlier films in the BBC Archive. FYI: I'll be doing one on Punta Arenas soon.

A government whose only "policy" is hatred of immigrants, a hatred fanned by all media, and which is popular enough among the xenophobic electorate to inevitably win the next election for the Conservatives? And a country where total strangers regularly, openly and loudly express disgust at seeing myself, a white man, married to a black woman? (Although, to be fair, black people whom we encounter are just as racist as whites in this regard.)

Just add that "armchair fascist " nonsense false accustion that Hugo just came up with to the list of other false nonsense against the British that we British folk are having to suffer at present . Add it along with the current bs and constant persecutions and false accusations against the British . The list of bs against us just keeps on growing , yet none of the accusations are true .
