There will always be poor of every race but you can't deny that being black at that time would have made it much more of a struggle regardless of qualifications or skills. I'm not black so can't speak for anyone but I hope it is much better than the 80's. Still a long way to go before equality reaches the minds of the masses but these young kids now being exposed to so much on the internet must surely help.

The same thing is happening today in Ireland, lots of foreigners are getting looked after better by the government than Irish people are, something like 70% of social housing is going straight to foreigners. There is also a british pathé documentary from the 60's about a muslim man running a small train station on his own and the narrator actually said that if he wasn't there then the train station would have to be closed down because they wouldn't be able to find anyone else to replace him. Then, you just have to scroll down to the comment section and you will see one saying that he is a native who would have loved that job because at the same time he was working slightly longer hours for less money and doing a shitter job. So, obviously, the documentary was clearly anti-white propaganda. There is a movement these days to wipe white people off the planet either through outbreeding and outnumbering them in their own countries. The msm, movies and tv shows and the governments are all pushing the anti-white narrative and it has been going on probably since the end of ww2. We don't need to bend over to help everybody else anymore, we ought to band together and start working towards our own survival and well being. I have often thought the same thing, for the fact that even as a sound system fan and attendee of dances since the 80's, I cannot recall a SINGLE sound system that hailed from Liverpool!! I would love to hear of anyone from Liverpool/Toxteth sound systems or dance fans and what did they do for musical enjoyment back then and even now...

We used to take our sound up there from Nottingham in the mid 80s (Quantro-tone Outernational) used to play at a wine bar kind of club in the city centre till 11 then pull down & play blues on Parliament St L8 till morning , can't remember much but for sure can't recall one sound from Liverpool ,but you know there must of been , in them days sound system was king.
