If I'd paid a composer to remix my favorite Wild Arms tracks with Roaming the Wastes from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and they handed me this track I would give them a non-trivial bonus. Holy crap it's so good. I'm so pumped for everything about this.
Very nice. Most important for me is that you get tools for exploration and puzzles and not to forget a horse for a ride and some kind of Lombardia for flying to explore areas.
The wait is going to be long for this but I hope they keep releasing themes throughout these years. I would pay w/e they want just for the soundtrack alone, loving every piece so far.
Nice demo and best of all it will be Turn Base JRPG.This genre is becoming less lately. Here's hoping that we could have our MC transform like Knight Blazer in Wild Arms 2 or Symphogear Anime.Also I love the music, it reminds me of Wild Arms series.

Hearing this music, wich has Michiko Narukes handwriting all over the place makes me 7 years old again instantly and bring literal tears to my eyes. I only read about this by chance, and I am so glad I did.
@@thelegendaryjanitor2008 Well, colour me bamboozled then. It did give me those Wild Arms vibes though that are inherent to Narukes work and her style.
It looks good. Obviously hair physics is something that needs some touch up but I am pretty sure right now you are doing layer and background to make sure jumping mechanics work FIRST before worrying if the hair moves or not which makes total sense. One thing though I noticed it seems really bright and washed out on the characters on the WIP videos I see which the trailer and artwork gives them darker colors so I am not sure if its like that due to shadows not being fully implemented or not or if its because lighting and stuff is still being worked on. Regardless this looks good and I cant wait to see the finished project. Just backed both you and Penny blood. Hoping for the best. Also Gunblades?! Bayonets under a different name?! Which ever as a Bayonet lover since WA2 and a Gunbreaker player in FFXIV I am excited.
Wonder if this is going to be an more open world, or if this is a really well crafted "dungeon", or if this is going to be a more open style of the same sort of map system WA5 had.
What took u guys so long 😑😑😑 bring us the wild arms, legend about the tear drops that owned by the pure heart princess with her super cool ‘accidentally guardian’ that know how to using weapon called arms and ofcourse the ex knight that searching the meaning of true courage, all of that make this game legend 🎉🎉🎉 so you guys!!!!! Don’t forget one of the most important element and root of the wild arms story in my opinion (the first one actually, the one that make this series become legend), The Tear Drops, woowww it already sound so mystical 😮😮😁😁
The speed of verticality is too fast and high compared to the slow running/walking Hope the running is made bit faster and more smooth to be more enjoyable

I hope the world will not be empty.... i hope the sidquests will be fun and not boring fetch quests; well, it does not have to reach the quality of The Witcher 3´s Red Baron sidequest, but it´s 2022 and we need more than just the "go there and kill that" type of quests i hope the RPG system will be interesting and innovative
the jump inertia certainly can do better, it felt clunky at certain places when faced with initial obstacle like ps2 game 0:50 , but it shouldnt be much problem at first except if the game is a room based rpg
If the platforming and or little land features require that much jumping I'm not sure anyone is gonna have any fun getting from point A to B. The controls and animation likely wont be on the level of an actual action platforming game. There is way too much room for janky controls and animation. Better to have the character handle slight obstacles and elevation changes without jumping constantly.

Off to a great start, but for the love of god make sure that there is movement in the environment. I hate when games like this don't add a sense of motion and make every thing look sterile.
Glad most of the "stretch goals" have been met, ESPECIALLY the *BGM Customization* stretch goal and my hope with that particular goal is that you can *customize the BGM itself by adding (or REMOVING) the "whistling" in all of those soundtracks* because, you see, while I understand that the "whistling" is meant to invoke that "western feeling" to the game, I'm personally *NOT* a fan of those whistling sound effects in the soundtracks and so wish to *remove them from all soundtracks* in the game (hopefully through this "BGM Customization" the developers are promising).
