No good mournings fast to say it’s not every word. I understand it’s a joke but for the purpose of this video they used the longest words witch also in English there is like interdenominational
I know it's tongue in cheek but those words are so long because they are just a string of words as a description of what it is instead of just its own unique word 😂 good luck
Yes, that's true but that is how a lot of Armenian words are made, by joining 2 or three words the total of which describes the intended meaning. I have noticed this is more the case in Easter Armenians from Armenia but not so much in Western Armenian or Eastern Armenian of Iranian Armenians.
My father was an Armenologist. He could read Armenian (ancient and modern), but couldn't speak it despite speaking many other languages. What does that tell you? Lol! God bless Armenia!

I hate it when people brag about how complex their language is, to imply that they are such smart people. No language is inherently more complex than another. There are probably aspects in your language that are far easier than aspects in another language. All a matter of perspective
Yes 😅sure, I tried it and couldn't even get passt few words, thank you and please 🥺 are two commonly used words but so hard to pronunce!! I can speak few languages!!

I tried a language app before I went but just couldn’t pick it up. When I landed I asked someone at the airport how to say thank you & she said it’s really long & difficult, just say Merci, everyone knows what you mean.
Those words are technically Armenian, but except for the first one, you won't catch people using them. Because those aren't words that entered the language naturally, those are words invented by linguists just to have an 'armenian' word for it, while in real armenian you'll see people using sorter words.
I truly notice, that this Armenian Female looks like a White European Woman, Which isn't a misnomer, knowing the fact that Armenians are Aryans, they are Indo-European Natives of Eastern Anatolia. Armenians are in fact the only ethnic group in Northwest Asia, who genetically correlate with Western Europeans, being the only ones in Northwest Asia, to bare this R1b haplogroup.
The funny thing is that some words in Armenian are basically the same as their English counterparts. Like for instance Flamingo is also Flamingo, Penguin is Pingvin, if you wanted to say you?, you say doo?
Is it like German where its multiple small words shoved together to describe the thing? If so I would find that easier to remember than a completely new one syllable word
I'M Armenian, and never heard these words,,, But they sounded ok describing what she meant,,, Cute,,, BTW, there are at least round 30 words in Amenian that are similar to Irish, Old Slovanian, Latin and Greek, because they all have the same Proto indo European origin,,, Oh Sanskrit as well,,,
Probably because the words translated literally mean "Collection of building that hold animals" or "the strips of metal that adorn the edges of your automobile"
CHUCK!! OMGosh tell me about it!! Holy crap. I only found out in 2017 that I am Armenian (divorce when I was a baby) and have been scrambling to reconnect with my heritage. Changed my name to adopt my family name, and even became a citizen and will relocate there in a couple years… and I STILL only have the scantest ability to hold a VERY limited conversation. It’s like doing surgery on yourself! Soooo hard to learn!
