@@xaero07vsxaero69 yess But he looks like he didnt really like the buff Not because he doesn’t like it or its bad But i guess he just dont want i dont knw wht they call , the “tekken employees (?) to think that JD can bring back AK to tournament with this buff So that they can keep on giving buffs to AK But yeah it’s just my opinion
If I can do wavedash into running 3 with Jin, its the same technique right? Its pretty hard but not super hard. I think an instant while running from point blank is harder.
@@fartmaster--po4ti It's a tad bit different, to do ISW for AK isn't tapping f 3 times like other moves it's tapping 4 times. So after a crouch dash you'll have to press f 2 times to get SW unlike 1 time for other running moves since a CD is already considered as a ff input
I think the biggest buff they gave him is ffn2 change, +7 on hit, ch launcher, only -14 seems amazing against characters who cant launch punish it, but yeah I agree with JDCR, AK would be much more threatening if they gave his giant swing and isw shorter throw break window like in tag 2. And the headbutt change is nice, but its still too slow at 26f, would be a lot better if it were 2 or 3 frames faster.
Even if his rage drive stunned for longer, I don’t use it because I’m not fast enough to dash in and do a throw. It has so many negatives and the only positive is you get a free throw, just do the throw (that might get teched) and it has rage damage.. the rage drive makes his throws worse when you use it 😂
Sadly his AK is still weak, running up into b1+2 in neutral to try and get a read, no d2 at range to check the opponent, its like half the move list is missing for this man when he plays AK shake because his tag 2 AK was godly but he just doesn't seem to play T7 AK well at all and certainly not to the level he plays Hei and Drag, its like he hands his lil bro the remote when he picks AK lol
Jdcr you say that Armor King has no pressure because breaking throws is much easier in Tekken 7, but sw, gs and hades drop animations are the same so there is still a mixup situation right?
@@kaiyiu2000 the mixup isnt chain throws tho. its iSW, GS, and now muscle buster can be buffered too, and tijuana twister, and basically way more options than AK and much better oki. (Keep in mind your SW has to be instant otherwise good players see the slight dash and it gives it away. Or mix with dashup GS?) And even still with the way I see pros breaking all of these "mixups" it looks like either the larger break window helps, something else is the case, or these players just guess right 90% of the time. Couldnt tell you for sure.
@@kaiyiu2000 let me tell you something. King's all chain grabs ( which starts with CD+1+4 or 2+3 ) have break window of 3 frames instead 1 grab which is 5 or 6. meanwhile AK's all chain grabs have 6 frames to break.
Easier to continue pressure from df1 if it hits ws4 is better than it was pre patch for this but it still leaves the opponent at a range where grab mixups etc are a little hard to buffer
JDCR "I forgot the chain grab command" Mashes buttons...thats very claming It makes me wonder if all chain throws get reduced dmg for mashing now. Wavedash, for no reason, to SW. My God how?!
@@jonathantorres5037 yea but in past Tekkens first hit knocks you down and the 2nd one is risky if blocked that’s also what JDCR is disappointed with Armor King in T7 because he always uses that move.
@@ramireini lol i see now..... disappointing..... hopefully a Pakistan AK player comes out the woodworks..... he's one of the funnest characters to watch in tournament But credit to that Jack player..... that was elite defense
only quality buff AK got is D/f+2 homing. Ak's main issue is his ''straight line linearity'' which is'nt fixed. not a bit, i repeat not a damn bit . as a counter bamco could gave him good sides but they did'nt. another quality buff they could gave him is i14or i15 shove B+1+2 or they could add range with current frames like Marduk and king but unfortunately.............ehmm
AK main who would rather eat dog shit than fight Kazuya 50 times a day, they've got some similar pressure situation but AK doesn't have an easy vortex like Kazuya's that resets the opponent back into the pressure, much of AK's pressure and mixup game leaves his opponent mid screen allowing for wave setups, but chaining KNDs together isn't as easy with him, all Kaz needs is his 112 and you're in the mix, AK needs a little more than that to get you
This game is not easy my friend and arslan is a really good player i respect his gameplay but many people talk shit about other countries and abuses all over the internet
