The fact Skoriath effortlessly crushed the triple Nineball encounter AND Seraph in one attempt and minimal effort is absolutely wild after how much Vaati hyped that fight up.
Armored Core is a series where a character will be named ‘Testicle Forger’ and his symbol is a hand holding the world, because it reflects that he has not just company CEOs by the balls, but the whole world itself.

11:48 i'm just imagining skor in the pilot seat, and his friends over comms huddled around a terminal watching this shit happen and going "oh god, oh my god"
The immense, burning secondhand fury I got at the cube section was unparalleled. Just watching that made me want to beat the designers over the head with a cube.
I fucking love how creature-brained y'all are, you see a weapon you can't make sense of and you crowd around it like Jawas going "thing.....thing......th..object...."
Hey Skor, just wanted to provide an update on my Armored-Core-Brain-ed-ness: I have now beaten the first game, Project Phantasma, and Master of Arena. I never thought I would get this far considering that I wasn't really feeling AC1 at the start, but damn is this series of games like, actually really good. I keep rewatching this video, too, I don't know why, it's just funny, and maybe my brain is installed backwards and I can't get over this game. I hear the Raven's Nest theme in my sleep. I'm actually on this page because I was checking this video to steal your AC build to fight Nine-Ball at the end of Master of Arena, I got insanely lucky and hit him with my last quad laser shot at 68 AP left, so thanks for the build, I guess. anyways, excited for the AC2 video! I'm gonna go get cracking on the EX Arena and get my snot rocked
This is one of those rare videos that I just did not want to end the whole time and then got actually sad when it ended lol. Absolute banger, so much effort must have gone into this cause it's soooo good.
Quads are really good in ac1, and you had pretty strong weapons for it too. You just had a better match up, as must of it's hits just missed, or colided with your projectiles. If you were taller, considering you didn't move much at the start of the fight you would've died. But in this case, Nineball couldn't beat the match up.
Wise man once said: playing a Souls game is straightforward, but playing an old hat Armored Core game requires you to calculate the annual GDP and balance your tax sheets
funny, i remember finishing this game and playing it multiplayer for weeks non stop and we didnt even have dual shock joypads.. No analog sticks.. yeah..
@@djoshawott2850Well don't know if they are but they don't make it easier that's for sure. Played it with a Ps4 controller and even if you bind the controls to the second stick, it does not make it any less "clunky" for a lack of a better word.
I beat Valkyrie in the destroy gal center mission by flying to the roof of one of the buildings where he couldn't reach me before the timer ran out lol
Now that you've finished these games with the awkward original controls, there's a romhack by VanLaser that implements actual dual analog controls. He's patched every game that uses the old controls.
I'm honestly really surprised you managed to kill Nine Ball Seraph on first try. Well, I guess that's just because Neco Arc is one of the most powerful characters in fiction, I guess...
did you guys end up getting the moonlight blade? i forgot what the mission was called but it was a mission with a ton of tunnels wth flames or fireballs coming at you
oh nice , right on! btw you made me want to go back and play this on emulator. i dont know how i beat his game as a kid with the old control schemes. you'rea beast lol. if you ever try ac3, there's some a mod online that allows you to play with a fully modern control scheme via xbox or ps controller. @@Skoriath
