Those symbols atop the weapons tell you how your gun operates: Is it Ballistic, Energy or Impact? Is it Single Shot, Burst, or Full-Auto? Does it Reload or Over-heat? VaatiVidya released a detailed guide over on his channel, and while not entirely needed since you already beat the game, it does help inform you if you'd like the weapon's operation.

You know maybe if all of the other kinetic weapons didn't feel like I've just stepped in dog poo maybe I'd use something other than some combination of devastation which includes one or more Zimmerman's. Rifles in particular feel anemic and have horrifically poor DPS and range, which makes zero sense.

Completing combat logs is just as good as checking for hidden parts. Did you find the chainsaw in the Honest Brute mission? It's the early platforming bit surrounded by detection lazer drones if you haven't. Also that infiltrating the grid mission had a fun log in the molten pipe. If you found the chest on a early rooftop going after the convergence missions with the two ACs then there's no other chests until late NG++.

You can get contextual help on the symbols by moving over to the second column of info, moving up to the line across from the symbols, and then moving back to the left column

After you beat new game ++, complete every mission, get all hidden stuff, basically 100% the game at that point. You should do a livestream where you do pvp with your viewers. May take a while but at least you can try your hand at pvp and show us why we should respect you.

Yk ac6 got an update that has a gun that is both a minigun and a assault rifle that does 62 dam and impact but has a bit less ammo than the minigun and DOESN'T.... overheat.

Interestingly, human sized models actually feature in nearly every generation and are surprisingly mostly seen as enemies. In gen 1 Project Phantasma has a single human model in a certain mission. Gen 2 had human infantry shooting at you in some AA missions. Gen 3 and 3.5 both heavily featured infantry enemies shooting at you, often with rifles that only do 1 damage but sometimes with missiles or bazookas that could do more. Gen 4 didnt have any infantry, likely due to hardware limitations and the size of Nexts, but Gen 5 had pilot models on little jetpacks that could appear as enemies and also you could play as one when your AC was destroyed but you still had allies alive in any multiplayer mode, or if you brought a UNAC into a mission and died before it.

Just did NG++. And the final boss was aids so I had bust out dual zimmermans.

hey! im on a PS5, how do i start NG+??! because i finished the game, i did the fires of raven ending but i dont see any option that says New game plus. PLEASE HELP

zimmerman and stun needles are your get out of jail free card pretty much. this combo makes the earlier missions (upto chapter 4) just a complete joke (but your ranking will suck as the stun needles are quite expensive to use (800 per shot)) this game does not have a quad melee option...bcoz dual melee is broken (even worse than the zim-needle combo) as most bosses will die in 1 or 2 combos. laser lance for stun and gap closing, pile driver to just blow the socks off with damage (upto 70% bar gets deleted instantly) the melee build is the fastest strat against ibis cel-240 Only thing balancing the brokeness of the melee pair is the fact that it involves a fair chunk of risk & reward

That Institute generator has gimmick of having a slow normal recharge but a massive instant recharge when you run completely out of energy

If you're on pc you can get to the icon info by clicking on them when looking up contextual info iirc. It also gives some more info on what certain status effects do in the far right block for weapons that have special effects (aka ACS anomaly and Elec Discharge)

To preface my comment, I have only watched 3 minutes yet, until you've chosen to turn on the Redguns. I understand that it's very tempting to instantly choose the new stuff as soon as it appears, but hear me out for a seconds please. The game does a very bad job at telling you what is new in NG+ and what would make more sense, I mean it doesn't tell you anything tbh and I understand that this method of injecting new stuff is probably the best way to introduce new content. But I still think it makes more sense to refuse the Rubicon Liberation Fronts offer to turn on the Redguns in the Dam Raid mission in the second playthrough. You would get a relatively similar playthrough to your first (regardless of your first ending choice), this time doing the missions you didn't choose in your first run and ofc the new ending. But I think it fitts more thematicly, because at that point you would technically still be more inclined towards the corps instead of the RLF. To give an example you attack the dam but turn on the redguns, in the VERY NEXT MISSION you destroy the strider, one of the RLFs most valuable machines and after that they ask you to RESCUE SOME OF THEIR VIPs? Like wtf why would they do that? Why would the RLF not make you another offer during the "Destroy the Strider" mission, it makes no sense. I know you are a mercenary but that's just stupid of the RLF is you ask me. And in your third playthrough you would then get a lot of new missions, like the "Liberation Front Rescue" and "Stop Data Breach" from Carla. It would all in all be a more coherent new story experience if you ask me. I shall now continue the video.

Playing AC6 new game plus made me so disappointed in Elden Ring now

Ah, yes, embrace the double Zimmerman and needle gun build! I use a similar build with the same leg for missions that need a 'special' touch. I prefer to stagger and use melee, but some ACs recover in 3 milliseconds so you can't get in a single melee attack. For those ones, I use this build to punish them ;)

You have to go from the right side using the context help menu to hop to the icons for their descriptions

20:40 A handgun might do you wonders. You really ought to try one. Or two if you want to. With the power of those stun needle launchers, the ammo won't be a problem. Annoyingly though, they're semi-automatic, meaning that unlike assault rifles, you gotta keep pressing the trigger. Or maybe a hand held missile launcher. Those things are a menace. But you do you. ^^b

You have to get all the combat logs, there are some cool weapons you get from it, also all the hidden chest, plus the 2 in NG++. Also the Coral generators look like ass when you look at stats but I always use the heavy version of it and you can basically always stay in the air if you continuously use up all of your energy. Because when you use up all your energy the refill delay is only like 2 seconds vs 4 seconds of waiting for it to normally refill. Also it changes your thruster to red and the assault armor explosion to red with some cool effects.
