@@IdlestHands I can’t remember, lol. Can you remember which condition to unlock which item? 😂 But it took me several seconds google it, an article said: _Clear Mission 2: Destroy Artillery Installations Buy from Shop: 90,000 COAM_
You don’t need to take so long in the beginning, just go straight to turrets & destroy. Then straight to enemy after and kill as quick as poss. Can just avoid all other enemies
Cool guide, got me the S rank after a few attempts, it would be nice if you showed your build beforehand though, you mentioned a "recharging energy pack" a few times, not really sure which or what you meant by that
@@OculusVectorYou don't need tons of kills, rather a combination of minimum kills, fast enough time and not too much ammo wasted on the boss / get a loadout which doesn't eat tons of ammo.
@@alephnole7009 True, but he specified at the start of the video he only used parts you have available before you complete this specific mission. To show you can still get S-rank on first clear. Although I do agree, if you hover so much Quad legs might be really nice if you're coming back later.
This is credit to another guy but this video has more views so I m gonna post here. What I did for S rank: Only objectives, killed maybe a total of 7 mts and one artilery piece. My AC is a tetrapod with 14150 hp. By the end of the boss I had 50% AP left but never used repaired kit. 2 bazookas and those two 12 rounds vertical rockets. The thing that I did differently from my other attempts is that I didn t resuply thanks to that video. In his video he was using a very light build but as you can see I did it in this overweight spider. I was going as fast as I could.
Editing to add my discovery: Time is definitely a factor in getting S ranks, and killing enemies extends your timer. See my comment below for the proof. Income doesn’t factor into missions that much in my experience. I’ve had missions where I use zero ammo, have barely any repair cost (600) and get A because I wasn’t fast enough by seconds. I got S here by rushing the objectives and avoiding damage. Repair cost: 10.5k Ammunition Cost: 33.3k Total profit: 340.6k S rank Comparing our scores, looks like this one is a combination of time + keeping costs under 50k.
That's not correct. But your data makes this very interesting to me. Before the strat in the video, I tried rushing the objectives, which was insanely faster than this video, and my best run I got the following: repair cost: 3,360 ammunition cost: 36,900 total profit: 375,340 A rank So time is factored in, but getting tons of bonus pay or kills or something must factor in heavily too.
@@VideoGameDataBank Interesting…I wish the time factor was far more transparent. On “Destroy the Transport Helicopters” I got an A rank for 0 ammunition cost, 600 repair cost, but an S rank for ~12k total cost by simply rushing the objectives. Also worth noting that I only get that S if I jump over a nearby wall to cut off the final dialogue and end the mission faster. I wonder if killing enemies extends the invisible “timer”? That would explain why time doesn’t seem to be as much of a factor when you killed a lot of enemies, but did seem to be an important factor when I killed almost none. Regardless, for something where the difference between A and S seems so vague, they should really improve the clarity. Edit: For the sake of science, I’m gonna go try the Transport Helicopters again, but kill a number of the small enemies near the start before rushing to the end. Edit 2: Killing enemies does seem to lengthen the timer! I took the time to kill some near the start, still got an S on Transport Helicopters. Repair: 2.6k Ammo: 6k Profit: 87.3k S Grade Gonna try it again, but this time not jump over the wall to end the dialogue. Edit 3: SEEMS CONFIRMED! I did the same as before (killed the group of enemies near the first helicopter, then simply rushed the objectives). Let the extended dialogue play at the end of the mission, and still got an S. Repair: 220 Ammo: 5.7k Profit: 86k S Grade Just to be 100% sure, gonna do the same run again without killing them, and let the extended dialogue play. Edit 4: Yep I’m now 100% certain. Same mission, only rushed the objectives, let the extended dialogue play, got an A rank. Repair: 2.3k Ammo: 3.6k Profit: 74k A Grade
My S score Bonus pay from extra enemies: 63k from killing a few of them in the indoor section Repair: 4k Ammo: 29k 359.2k tota Rushed objective and tried not to take damage and yeah worked out pretty good
So I believe there may be a percentage of enemies you need to kill to get an S rank. This is just an observation from the older games in the series as you had to get above like a 70% or 80% kill rate for S rank. Might be worth exploring.
Try quick boost and plasma shoulder cannon to build up stagger from vertical strikes than get the sword out and get up close while the FSC is overloaded. First try.
Got this after numerous tries. Setup: Two shotguns in the front, two stun needles in the back. Reverse jointed legs, Gills booster and NGI 000 generator. Cleared all the artillery before getting inside, cleared the first room full of enemies, ignored the second room's enemies except the one close to the door, resupplied, beat the juggernaut while taking no damage just after Rusty left. Getting behind the juggernaut is easier only till Rusty is there with you. So, make use of that time.
Don’t know how you catch the enemy at the wall in the corner but in my 20+ attempts after this guide, the enemy is always going to the open field and pulls other enemies. Got it a few times that I killed this enemy fast enough, and my numbers were great but still just A rank. Have no idea how to S rank this. Follow another guide too and got the same numbers and just A rank again. Wish there was a feedback system to see what wasn’t enough für a rank.
i just skip every mobs and that first line of defense's turrets but destroy all the turrets on the wall and just do the objectives quickly (without taking any damage when i did it tho, dont know if that also count) lol
Just bought AC6 and I was scared out my mind of this level cause of all the Hype it has of being Extremely difficult and I did it On my 1rst try I couldn't believe it when I destroyed the juggernaut 😅
A lot of tries to pass trought the mission. Than a much more tries to get this trash S rank. I don't know how the platinum trophy of this game is not 0,1%. One of the most frustrating trophies I've ever tried.
I just completed this mission killing slightly more enemies, using slightly less ammo, and taking slightly less damage than this run. My rank: A It has to be the mission time, right? I don't understand this.
I've tried this mission at least 50 times with different approaches and I've gotten A rank every time. No idea how or why I can't get it, so I'm giving up.
@@RedEarth20XDX True - and that's a part I enjoy But theres way more sneaking around and crawling up behind cover then I thought I mean that's fine but I wasn't expecting that even tho I saw a lot of content of the game before it released
@@nykz2358 this is my dodge attempt if you're interested ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Dp1-7W8-87o.html I don't play as cleanly as kibbles though. I really want to try his method.
@@nykz2358 Sneaking around is just a safer way to play. I can tell you from experience that, if you don't want to, you don't have to be stealthy. It's just this guys playstyle.
@@nykz2358 To be fair this is mission is built around sneaking and dodging long range attack, I didn't get far into the game but out of 9 mission only this mission has so much sneaking. Also personally I tried to s Rank the mission by going as fast as possible and you can definitely boost toward the wall dodge every turret shot, with a dodge boost then destroy the Tetrapod without turret being much of a problem.
Ahh finally, I try to end mission by over 90% of AP. but It's not enough. The important thing for this mission is destroy all gatling cannon and tetrapod MT (all cannon) to get a lot of moneys by quickly. Thank for this guide, bro.
@@tanakronplatinums It's speed that's important. My first S rank of this mission, only enemies I destroyed are the gatlings, the quad, and the MTs on the way to the boss. And I got battered by the boss, using up all 3 heals trying to quickly take it down with a shotgun + laser sword combo. Still an S rank.
