@@Oroboro im going to make a video on it once i finish my ranked climb video (waiting on my movers to drop stuff off in the next couple weeks.) The quirky weakness of the laser sword is the extremely low accumulative impact, i think.
the absolute ridiculousness of some of these laser cannon shots, I feel ya >.> Feels like I'm 50 feet away and I still get hit. It's such a shame the networking in this game is shit because it ruins the otherwise incredible flow of the pvp.
I had a match where the other guy fired the lasers, I dodged, the laser missed completely, left a mark on the ground next to me, and it still did full damage.
@@blizzardgaming7070its the same issue we have since demon's souls Its exarcebated by AC6 design (a mixture of AC3 movement, souls like animations & no invincibility frame) Souls are playable because we have I-frame, this game has none of that on top of being fastest than even bloodborne ACFA have same issue where melee is also banned in the community, ACVD basically become sniper city
Watched your stream earlier today and I can safely say that Ranked on PC seems (surprisingly) less shitty than on PS5. On PS5 my Match History in A-Rank literally looks like this: Tank, Rat, Tank, Rat, a copy of a Anti-Meta build someone saw on RU-vid - rinse and repeat. And the matches that I manage to win people quit out and I don't get any points. So I'm just stuck here in A-Rank Limbo and there is pretty much no point in playing at the moment.
The problem with the wuerger - > laser slicer followup is that it doesnt true combo unless you weapon swap before shooting the wuerger, and so you cant follow up the lance with the wuerger.... Im not even sure the slicer can follow up the wuerger at all due to the slicers longer animation before the first hit. Its one of the tighter timing punishes.
Just finished crawling my way into B tier with a clone of your HAL9000. Needle builds are usually what i have the worst time with. But when the combo lands and they disintegrate 😚😚
It's better in 3v3 and in PvE. As far as stagger punishes go, cutscening someone and dealing a sizeable chunk whilst they can't dodge anything for a while, and it's ALL direct hit means the person is dead if someone can capitalise.
If you really wanna complain about melee hit boxes, start running the chainsaw. I've only ever had one whiff with the laser slicer that wasn't my fault. The chainsaw feels like pure rng.
Mid range? If you mean not the absolute META, there's BVO builds. A build Oro uses later in the series. Only truly viable lightweight PVP build at high ranks. Basho arms, dual Viento guns, Oculus FCS. From there you are free to make adjustments to your build but nach legs and alba core are highly recommended. For your back you'll need a trusty missile launcher and a melee weapon. Point of build is to harass enemies up close with Vientos and then punish when they stun with melee. When you're out of ammo, unable to attack, or losing the stagger war you back off a reasonable distance, enough to let you dodge incoming attacks before you go back in to unload your ammo.
@uhsund i use a similar build but used alba legs instead of nachts [for the gundam cosplay] but the nachts do give you better jump height making it easier to dodge from the ground. Still effective either way as long as you don't miss the melee punish
