"Damned shield! Be gone! Go away! Disappear! Away with you!" "What kind of magic did you work there, you asshole?" "It's wasn't magic, it's a scam. Now's our chance. Do it Raven!"
Rusty has mastered the best skill in marksmanship. Having a one liner before every shot that goes harder than my blood pressure after eating burger king at 3AM
Ace Combat 6 is called Fires of Liberation, Armored Core 6 is called Fires of Rubicon, i cant tell if this is a deliberate move on fromsofts part or just a really big coincidence
I can't wait for the Music Pack mods for this game. I bet people could totally transform the experience just as you've done here with some video editing.
CHAPTER 4 SPOILERS I really worried I would have to fight him to death when going through Depth 4. To my relief, he pulled out in the end of fight. I like the guy and I don't wanna hurt him!
@@RedTheRandomGuy Later mission spoilers... I think he died later on? He was taking on an entire fleet of incoming enemies during the final mission and his radio went silent.
@@DGneoseeker1 ugh ~ yes, he died on Liberation ending, 're-educated' Walter kill him with IBIS AC Arye says "his signal disappear", meaning MIA, since that on space, the chance he survived with broken AC are close to zero.
Ace Combat and Armored Core are pretty much the same thing if you think about it Both have some realistic stuff but have way more power fantasy than most of their respective genre while also not to the point it gets too ridicilous If only Daemon X did the same thing Project Wingman done for being a sucessor.... hopefully DxM 2 fix its big mistake of unbalanced power fantasy
Also, power fantasy? The ending of ACFA is kinda depressing ngl, you have a choice of freeing humanity by destroying the cradles and causing the lost of many lives, becoming a corporations lapdog, or just destroy all cradles and be done with it.
If you grew up playing Armored Core, chances are, you also grew up playing Ace Combat, as both are legendary vehicular combat games, despite being owned by two different companies!
This is kind of making me want to try out Ace Combat. The newest(?) one is always on sale on Steam but I keep getting put off trying it because of all that DLC not included in the package.
Would be worth it, I think. Also I'd recommend to try playing PS2 Ace Combats (04, 5 and Zero), but they are currently playable only on PS2 itself or through emulation.
@@RedTheRandomGuy ONE type!? That's amazing that any company run by sane people would think that was acceptable or sensible. Considering I can get Freespace working fine on any device.
Id say Ace combat 7 is still a very worth it game to buy without all its DLCs, considering most of the extra content is additional planes and a few extra missions acting as a “side quest” in regards to the main storyline. There’s no “bonus gameplay mechanic”. You’re not missing out on anything huge/crucial not buying the DLC, considering that most of the DLCs planes are also fictional Ace combat planes of previous titles. So i also recommend playing the previous AC titles before buying any of those plane DLCs. TL;DR ac7 without the DLCS is still peak gameplay
Ahhh, if only it was Ace Combat 6's music, to match up the titles exactly; Armoured Core 6, both are AC6 Edit: Oh god, I just realised they both have "Fires of". And to add to that, the good ending in Armoured Core is called Liberator of Rubicon; Ace Combat 6 Fires of Liberation
@NoOne-fy2rv I agree, but the way the story is framed in those games isn't like that. You're the designated good guy, and the other guys are bad aggressors. Of course, once you dig into the backstory that framing falls apart.
i want two soundtrack mods; One for Ace Combat Music the other to use some of the numerous remixes FreQuency and Kota Hoshino have made of their older AC songs, the breakcore/Jrock stuff. I like the new darksynth but something about the upbeat yet still melancholic alt rock with full on engrish lyrics in the background just cant be beat in my personal opinion.
Bruh what??!! What about "Contact with you" and "Rusted Pride"??!! Sure criticising that there isn't enough memorable ost's compared to older AC games is a valid point but saying that there are absolutely none is straight up false.
