시청해주셔서 감사합니다. 다음엔 부스터 무한 없이 해볼게요. 새해복 많이 받으세요, 여러분. :) Thanks for watching. Next time, I'll do it without infinite boosters. Happy new year, everyone. :)
It's really scary from the enemy perspective, when you try gunning down a target, and said target blinking all over the place and killing you one by one
That literally happened in the multiplayer. The tick rate of the peer hosted servers wasn't fast enough to keep up with the blading speed, so people would teleport around the map because the server would get their next best position on the map. It was problem on NA servers
That's one of the reasons I REALLY loved 1v1ing Shinkai for the Moonlight Blade he has as a blade user myself. Both of us dashing all over the place like a DBZ fight trying to get that one good blade shot in.
It's theorized that the AMS (Allegorical Manipulation System) is what keeps the pilot alive during those kinds of maneuvers since it forms a neural link between the pilot and the AC.
I still remember when I first got to this mission and all 5 of them came at me, your accomplice even turns on you. I remember thinking this was the first time I ever truly felt evil in the evil ending of a game. Loved it
@@Athidius it is bad, not evil, but that’s my take. I don’t think orca are truly as evil as old king and strayed become. They’re more of a tekkadan kind of thing in my eyes
Just put yourself in the shoes of one of the league NEXTs. A target with a blacked-out silhouette moving at speeds above 3000 km/h, carrying no projectile weapons of any kind, willfully staring you and your 4 allies in the middle of the ocean after you've effortlessly gunned down his only ally.
I'm convinced the only way to beat the last mission is to go full melee. I must have died 50 time using every build I could think of. Finally said 'screw it' and pulled out dual laser blades and beat them first try.
Personally pulled it off with rockets and blades, the rockets helped cheese one out of the air then blades finished the job. I think the hyper mobility of a blade build lends itself to surviving all those NEXTs shooting at you. Each swing dodges shots!
This is totally anime mech fight moment, imagine fighting it in real life as real life mech pilot holding those G force pressing you to the bone while still carefully control the mech flight and accurately hit enemy with the blade, either you superhuman and beyond human or you just one insane mad lad
@@texasgaming1349 in my opinion, newtype are more fit to be on space and weak on planetary battle on the planet surface, since newtype have heightened sense to having a good spartial perception over space wich there are no up, down, left and right, they probably feel the G force more than normal human could withe their heightened sense that could hinder the piloting or even harm the pilot, but it probably could be negated by using special cockpit specifically designed for newtype like psycomu technology that could put the newtype heightened sense more into mecha and weapon control instead spartial perception that degrees their sense for the G force while on planet surface yet still good at controling the mecha, althought I also read that the psycommu technology actually put burden on the pilot mental so there was the con of it, and so there are no perfect solution and answer for piloting to be as good as what many of us imagine a mecha pilot would do, for there will always a con for each category of mecha piloting such as speed, precise control, and perception
According to the lore, the pilots both go through intense training *_and most importantly_* are technologically enhanced *(aka turned into "Cyborgs")* to form a neural link with the AC. Which allows them to sustain more G forces and stay on conscious during fights.
At the risk of sounding like "one of those people" your build's actually very close to what mine is like, if my 360 hadn't been red ringed, I wouldn't mind going a few rounds with you. This brings me back to memories of multiplayer, God that community was great. Thanks for the nostalgia, subbed.
Same here, fellow lynx. Nostalgia is ok. I used a LATONA design with DUSKAROR legs and 2 moonblade. Achieving SS rank with that setup at regulation 1.2 (on 360) was wild
@@cesare_1302 it's been so long that I forgot exactly what I put into it, but, very close. I just remember being so fast that my next was hardly ever on the screen, dual blades.. had fun very early on running around in the VR testing trying out the movement mechanics of AC4:FA and built around it, online was a lot of fun.
@@SolutusEversol it looks like the build in the video is: -all Lahire parts except the head which looks like it could be the White Glint head. -both arm weapons are Moonlight, back weapons and shoulder attachments are the auxiliary main and side boosters, respectively. -I can't tell what the booster parts are, but I'm betting it's probably the one's that have the highest QB thrust. -Generator doesn't matter since this appears to be on Reg 1.15 so there's no EN costs on anything. -FCS is probably the BLUEXS since it has the highest blade lock range.
Finally, someone that isnt an amateur with the dual blade build. Forget the specs and the parts, majority of the people who I've seen with this build doesn't know how to negate the animation pause when using the blades or boosters.
Funny enough. This isnt the fastest a player can build a mech in armored core for answer. If you used the lightest armors you can sacrifice armor down to 1800 and reach peak speeds of 4300 kmph and average 2800 kmph with light use of dashes. Which is what i hope they do for armored core 6
I remember min-maxing the absolute lightest dual-blade build for max forward thrust, which ended up using quad legs for some reason I can't recall. My blade of choice was the Eltanin, of course, for perpetual blade dash chaining. The build was ugly af, but FAST (looked kinda like the fastest points in this video at 2x speed, lol). I don't recall which regulation I used, but it was able to "fly" forever w/out the infinite energy regulation (using only blade dashes, plus the OB would not run out before crossing even the largest map at the same time). I beat this same mission using that build, except I just zoomed to the opposite corner of the map to isolate the first to catch up & wore them down or picked them off before the rest caught up, zoom off to the opposite corner, rinse & repeat. I didn't do much of any QB chains either, just cruised at a decent altitude & dive straight into them in an instant, then take off just as quickly. Sure, it was more boring & took a lot longer than this video, but it was interesting as it felt like I was playing an already ludicrously fast game on fast forward, lol.
@@Azure9577 CORRECTION: He is looking at Armored Core FOR ANSWER. It's the only game in the series that goes this fast. Base AC4 didn't nearly go this fast, and the rest of the franchise doesn't move like this. This is exclusive to the latter half of 4th Gen.
And I was happy cheesing this fight at range with the Gauss Cannon shoulder weapons on the cusp of my lock-on range and overboosting away when they got close.
Note, this was done on Regulation 1.15 (You could choose your patch) The gimmick of 1.15 was that you had unlimited energy. You CAN still go this fast normally but not without breaks.
@@DarkonFullPower I didn't mind it. Everyone had the same advantage. Just sped up overall gameplay throughout fights... That being said, it's also fun having to manage your energy output etc. Adds a bit more depth to the combat. Each has their advantage and disadvantages.
I had a red and black armored Core Focus strictly on missiles with reverse jointed legs, the missile Wing arms along with the shoulder missiles and noblise oblige back wing cannons, I called it "Blood Vultur" and I absolutely loved using it because of its light build allowing me to stay airborne most of the fight only coming down to use the laser cannons to finish off the remaining targets in missions like this.
@@br7915 its possible on the other standards to buiild a blade mech that pretty much has no EN drain albeit the mech is probably only half as fast - less AP too
@@DovahkiinJeff Yeah I built one just like that, very fast, with some limits Not that you could focus enough to pass those limits unless you are literally a god or just wastefully boosting around the place
Daaamn just finished playing Armored core 2 and 3 these past days and man this is FAST, people playing like this with sub 30 framerate are literal monsters.
I starting to learn the blade almost at that level myself, the AI can't keep up since your blades are like magnets that also travel at nearly 2000kmph lol I didnt know you could move so fast though
@@genericgorilla Yep I just did the same mission on a save with everything unlocked, *It's still really really hard* I mostly 1v1d or 1v2d them, and SOMEHOW lived but only once after many tries doing this Melee lol I also did a melee campaign run, didn't bother with White Glint though since they spam Assault Armor and blow me to bits, I could bait the AA but it'd take many attempts still lol
Back in the day, before the first patches, we use to get our mechs fast enough to spin the frames of the game. It would look like you were teleporting around, but we were just too fast
Favorite mech design, fasty with blades. Used to do blade only duels with folks in multiplayer back in the day... It was like an art form. Such good times!
@wilmertapia6839 I'm hoping more 3 than 5. Like something along the lines of original 4, perhaps very slightly slower, but being on the point of air boosting 3 had, and the quick boosting of 5. That's my hope, that is. 4A was fun, but probably was too fast, and while I like some flight, I'm not a fan of permaflight outside of builds optimized extremely heavily to achieve such. But that's me
Goddamn I miss this so much. I'm really excited for VI, I just hope that it doesn't get shat all over by Souls players who come into the AC series expecting Dark Souls but with mechs.
I'd be more worried about Ravens from 3rd Gen and earlier ruining it because they are the ones who demanded the game be slowed down and simplified which led to ACV killing the franchise for a decade.
@@davekaye5483 Yeah theres huge split between AC community with AC3 and older Vs AC4 Fans Both side equally dislike AC V even when Verdict Days tone the horrible stuff down, but its still super painfull Like i get the AC3 and older fans want a more weighty game and i also understand AC4 fans like the fast pace, not having Back Unit issue without the need of Human Plus/OP-Intensify, and Hover Legs original purpose being pretty much in every Legs I do personally aggre theres deffinitly need to be a middle ground between AC3 and AC4 but even i dont want AC5 Weighty is deffinitly what Armored Core is, but at the same time AC's are not like how most Westren game make their Mechs, AC's are still SUPER Fast even by Westren Mech style, hell id dare say 1 AC could even beat 3 Titan's from Titanfall alone, they are not to be underestimated But somehow NEXT surpassed AC's and even made Gundam Newtypes look like absolute Psychic clowns
lol, even if the DS fans comes thinkign AC is a DS-like game, I think they'll like the game. Gameplay-wise, I think AC6 will be faster than AC5 but slower than AC4
@davekaye5483 I thought ACV was alright when it came out What turned me off about it was the retooling of the damage types I was accustomed to Solid/Energy damage The kinetic/thermal/chemical threw me wayyy off I recently played it again and enjoyed the piloting experience; it feels more visceral. I hope FromSoftware keeps that in the next title.
I recently found AC6, and is very excited for it, I remember blading this mission back then, and it was what I lived for (in ACFA) back then. But I cheated and equipped 2 kojima missiles (or w.e u called them) and nuke 1 down right at the start, and proceed to blade them within the circle, since I dislike the water for bouncing me up and down. I find it easier to land my blade whilst on ground...
The only thing they found i. The cockpit was a body of soup hooked up to the lynx. He had broken every bone in his body yet the lynx kept him going. The horrors of humanity
Good model and combination, also looking is amazing. Gives that feeling of a true enemy of world, basing his combat style on mere blades to split and tear his victims apart just for the pleasure of taking a life with his own NEXT's hands. A feared butcher that can even receive names like "Last Glint", Taking this name as a reference to the fact that the last thing you see of this opponent is the flash of his laser blades.
every time one of a friend of mine ask me how fast and difficult were the missions in ac4a i show them this video and laught. hahah. i've watched this duel so many times dude, it'l like a dance, awesome, it melt your eyes. i memeber that mission, it was one of the hardest mission of a game i've ever played and you accomplished it only with blades, what a monster!
if you use quad legs and some other blades you can basically one hit them all and finish the mission within 2 minutes maximum. i think my record is like.. 50 seconds.
Great video. My reaction timing is nowhere like it used to be when I played this around release. I did beat this mission on hard with a tank build and that was a real pain. That was the last time I played it, enough frustration for me lol
I did that myself... Twice! XD Had a full playthrough with blades only and then I did this mission specifically with a pure blade unit for a friend because he couldn't get through it and couldn't believe me when I told him about that playthrough. XD
High respects for ya Man. This mission is one of the toughest missions I can remember in For Answer. I have only once managed to finish this mission, but never compleate its hard mode version… 😓
I remember trying over and over to beat this back in the day, Believe it or not if you stay in the mission long enough fire control systems stop working so blade is actually the best option cause this fight can glitch aiming for both the player and enemies,
You're regularly accelerating from 0kph to about 2800kph in a fraction of a second. This puts you at about 158g-317g of acceleration force depending on if you are getting to that speed at .5s or .25s respectively, and that's just from a stand still. It would be even worse if you did the calculations during the lateral boosts as it's going from about 2300 in one direction to 2300 in the other. Basically the pilot should be a paste inside the cockpit.
