Aye, while they did say that they were still working on a title a few years back, they haven't been really showing anything of it at all. This is probably the first thing they've done on a larger-ish scale for the series in years.

Ahh.. I've been a fan of this series since I was little. Made me a fan of huge machines, blazing through streets, deserts and desolate lands, firing off rounds of all shapes and forms, be it pure, devastating energy, hurricanes of missiles or never-ending streams of metal-shredding bullets. I find it kinda funny that I wanted to replay the original series recently, then this pops up... This old Raven is coming out of retirement after all. I do sincerely hope that a new game for the series will come out soon. It's been too long. Ain't that right, fellow pilots?

A Stein I was under the impression that was a Square Enix game? It does have mecha designs I feel are similar to AC, but does it actually have any of the same developers?

Left Alive is a Square Enix Property, Toshifumi Nabeshima worked on Armored Core before but Left Alive is not an Armored Core game nor is it a Fromsoft Property.

I only got into Demon's Souls and Dark Souls afterwards because I already knew Fromsoftware from of AC. It's good stuff (the best IMO), if you like mechs.

買った第一印象は黒いゲームキューブみたいだなぁ、と思うほど箱がデカかったいざじっくりと聴いてみるとゲーム中では必死すぎて印象の薄かった曲、分岐先の1、2ミッションでしか流れず耳に残りづらい曲も味わい深いシリーズ毎に収録曲の方向性が大きく違うから気分によって各アルバムをチョイスするもよし全部ランダム再生で曲の切り替わりにワクワクするもよし、順に聴いてプレイ当時を思い出すもよし今まで曲名がわからなかった曲名も当然網羅されていて、洒落のきいた曲名もあり登場人物やミッションの背景を感じさせるスペシャルディスクも素晴らしい完成度、We still have a long way to goを初めて聴いたときの何とも言えない奇妙な懐かしさ、温かさは忘れがたい残念だったのはIn the universのオフボーカル版が収録されていない事、記念放送ニコ生でのエンディングはオフボーカルだったから、そのまま収録だろうと思っていた当時を思い出す意味もあり聴いてみたい既に何作品かはサントラを持っていたのだが買ってよかったと思っている、多分この先、5年、10年経っても、その先も聴き続けるだろう参加した作曲家、関わったスタッフに感謝を言いたい、素晴らしい作品をありがとう

The best one in the series is Armored Core: For Answer on ps3 and 360. Miyazaki himself was lead designer for the first time Try it out if you're interested, and be sure to pick control scheme B

AC2 to Silent line is kind of the golden age. AC4 and For Answer are better gundam simulators than any actual gundam game to be released, but very different from traditional AC. AC5 and verdict day are not great.

サントラを買って、あれから2、3年…2019年のエルデンリング発表以降音沙汰が無かったが、2021年現在、同作の新情報公開によってフロムさんが動きを見せた。正直、ダークファンタジーのフロムさんは趣向が違い過ぎて手を出していないのだが、エルデンリングの発売こそ、フロムさんのその先を見るために必要不可欠なイベントであると言えよう。
